  1. nice looking MJ.
  2. clayton has some good long arms. nice looking mj.
  3. looking good. wj steering looks good. just a heads up on the trac bar mount point on the axle. you might get some bump steer issues.
  4. For me when i started my build i got a 4.5 rubicon express kit for cheap. wheeled it for a while. then went to a custom long arm and a 8.5 lift. If it was me look at BDS or Clayton and start with their long arms. it will ride smoother and handle better. With jeeps it is a learning process, it may be a bit more money at the start but your jeep will be better off.
  5. both lifts you mentioned are good lifts. It depends on what you want to do with the jeep, offroading or just street driving. I have had experience with rubicon express and clayton lifts they are a little more money.
  6. its not to much to convert it. i did it to mine, just need a donor jeep to get all the parts.
  7. nice wheeling picts. you are parked next to my red comanche. my dad drove it up for the clean up day. I was thinking of going down to moab on thanksgiving, mind if i come wheel with you guys?
  8. nice looking mj. The 44 is such a nice upgrade. I have loved the one in my mj.
  9. nice looking comanche.
  10. for me when I had a bent axle shaft it wobbled real bad so its easy to check when you drive it around.
  11. looking good. desert driving is always fun.
  12. looking good, you will love the longarms. the front will need trimming for 35's. On the rear of my MJ i didn't have to trim for 35's. I put on bushwhacker flares and they help get clearance for the tires.
  13. i would second rubicon express, i have a few parts of their lift on mine. another couple good lifts are clayton and BDS.
  14. we will need to get a moab trip planned sometime also. and also get all the slc MJ's together.
  15. I haven't sold the roll cage. its still sitting in the back of my mj.
  16. starting on a rear four link on the comanche. the external rollcage got put on the back burner for now. but will complete it once it warms up.
  17. i think i will be able to make this trip.
  18. a trip we took down to moab at the end of april. ran cliffhanger and steelbender. camera issues on cliffhanger so no picts of that. steelbender was fun.
  19. here are a few of the closer up pics of the bumper and the support to the bed protectors.
  20. ya it is reinforced to the frame where the bumper bracket goes and behind the flares. its all cool for you to copy. i will get the picts tomorrow.
