looking good. wj steering looks good. just a heads up on the trac bar mount point on the axle. you might get some bump steer issues. -
For me when i started my build i got a 4.5 rubicon express kit for cheap. wheeled it for a while. then went to a custom long arm and a 8.5 lift. If it was me look at BDS or Clayton and start with their long arms. it will ride smoother and handle better. With jeeps it is a learning process, it may be a bit more money at the start but your jeep will be better off.

both lifts you mentioned are good lifts. It depends on what you want to do with the jeep, offroading or just street driving. I have had experience with rubicon express and clayton lifts they are a little more money.

1989 Comanche Lynchburg Va. Help.
87shortbed comanche replied to Cmbechtold's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
for me when I had a bent axle shaft it wobbled real bad so its easy to check when you drive it around. -
looking good, you will love the longarms. the front will need trimming for 35's. On the rear of my MJ i didn't have to trim for 35's. I put on bushwhacker flares and they help get clearance for the tires.

i would second rubicon express, i have a few parts of their lift on mine. another couple good lifts are clayton and BDS.
