Part number ATP Y-924 Its $18 on amazon. My speedo bounces at lower speeds but steadies out after i think about 20 mph. My concern is to my understanding an auto MJ without cruise control needs a much much longer cable, that one lists as 12"...although I just read reviews on Amazon for it and a couple guys said it worked on their non cruise..I think I may give it a try! O rly.... The Y-924 one worked for me it was i think 36" the Y-802 one was something like 14" i grabbed it because it matched corresponding part number i found, but the length wasnt right. I read up on the Y-924 one and decided to try it, worked for me. I have an 88 without cruise control.

Except the marks are straight and he was "unable" to straighten the wheel. Not to mention if i lost steering capability in a turn id do something like idk hit the brakes. In a turn you're not going that fast, or shouldnt be so you should be able to stop before hitting something that looks to be 50 ft away.

In the 2nd picture you can see the tire marks leading right up to the cable...

Its not like you can't make a custom brace though.

It has been done on a short bed before. I have talked with this guy about it because this is something i was planning to do. He did this with a full 97 swap was about the only real information he could give me.

I recommend ruff stuff if you are going to start with swing aways and such. They should have just about everything you would ever need anyways. Kinda sounds like a bad ground to be honest. Check your ground and fuse just in case. I upgraded to harness and have no issues but mine are completely different

And again again he doesn't even know enough to differentiate the two versions of the 8.25. Maybe you need to go back and reread your posts as well as mine... Larger than the 35, which has been your argument.
