  1. ya I can get some picts of the bumper. The side protection is quarter inch plate that we plasma cut to fit the dimensions and bent the plate to go around the sides.
  2. this our latest trip to moab. we conquered pritchett canyon. and had fun on metal masher.
  3. yep I did the bending of the tube myself. the bumper is made by rigidco . the bully bar is designed after rigidcos one they sale. I did some changes to it so it would be different. my brother in law has the same bumper and the bully bar from that company.
  4. here's a couple picts of my new bully bar/light bar on the comanche. it was a good time making it. tons of hard angles on the bars to compensate for. to get it looking good.

  6. about the battery. the parts store doesn't know what there talking about. the optima fits just nice. i will get the part number and tell you.
  7. here's the high steer all done. thanks to summit machine for the billet joint for the track bar and parts mike for the machining of the high steer knuckle and arm. plus put some new sway bar disconnects on.
  8. ya I am going to get rid of the roll bar. it would look a little off to try and convert smaller tube to the bigger stuff. it would be fun to go too the Moab thing this fall.
  9. here's the new yellow top battery i just put into the comanche. the old battery gave up. so I splurged a little more and got this one. it starts like a champ now. will be done with the high steer today. so I will get pictures of that up.
  10. here's my yellow top I just put into my comanche. it fit just fine. if you have them look up a cherokee or comanche size battery at any of the part stores they can get the right size.
  11. here are a few more down in moab. there is one of my dads newly rebuilt jeepster commando. he has coils and long arms he did on it. drive up everything. i just ordered my high steer stuff so i will get pics of that up soon.
  12. here are a few more pics of Moab wheeling. and a desert wheeling in utah. the desert wheeling is before i had bushwhacker pocket flares. the next project on this i am in the process of doing is high steer and a roll cage. i will post more of those pics once I get going on it in the next week or so.
  13. the reason for the difference is that i had a 6 lug waggy rear 44. I just swapped to a 5 on 5.5 dana 60 rear that is a wider axle than the 44.
  14. i have been looking at this site for a while and finally got to posting some pics of my MJ. it has a 44 hp ford front we narrowed to waggy width. and a dana 60 rear out of a 66 f100. both axles have eaton e-lockers and 4.88 gears. the front is a 4 link longarm. it has been lifted 8.5 inches. i have put in grand cherokee front seats. I have done the 2lo kit for the transfercase. just got done putting in a 96 inline six with the higher flow intake from a 2001 cherokee.
