  1. I did much better on this one. 55% and the ones I missed were the correct model just the wrong years. Oh and I know Jack about mustangs... Love the original muscle cars.
  2. Well I successfully educated guessed my way to 42%. I'd like to see one of these for each generation, would be cool to test which generation we are most familiar with. I don't think I'd ace any generation tho, there are so many cars in the mainstream outside the popular ones that we don't pay any attention to.
  3. Yeah Pete knows, he told me the story when he was here visiting. I'm sure he'll share the story!
  4. It does have two lines coming from the valve cover however only the front one goes to the intake tube, the rear one goes to a fitting on the intake manifold so it isn't affected by removing the airbox. Glad to see you got yours figured out!
  5. My 90 is a 97+ swap truck so I only had the one line from the valve cover. I didn't have the other vacuum lines to deal with. You may be able to get away with just capping them but if you can, I'd weld some fittings to the intake tube to connect them to so it doesn't screw something up. Otherwise you may be able to find some T fittings you could splice in somewhere on the new intake.

    "The Middle"

They only really use the old Jeeps in the specialty commercials, the standard commercials still exist everyday that only feature what's actually available today. It's nice to see them recognize that their past vehicles are iconic, even if they make not so good ones these days. This one uses a 1980 CJ5 for the celebration of the 80th anniversary. This one also isn't really about selling Jeeps, it's a statement about or current social environment.

    "The Middle"

I'm sure some of you saw this already, Jeep has some of the best commercials. And they didn't crush a Gladiator this time.. https://youtu.be/D2XYH-IEvhI
  8. There is a bracket in the rear with plugs for everything in the rear of the XJ and it's all separate harnesses, I'll call it a plug block because idk what it's actually called. The wiring is there in the main body harness but it stops at the end of the main harness in this plug block, everything branches from there on separate harnesses to the third brake light, speakers, ect. I just mounted that plug block to the rear wall of the MJ and only used the taillight and fuel pump wiring harnesses. I extended the XJ taillight harness and adapted the fuel pump harness for the Dakota pump. All that other harnesses you can just leave in the XJ. I kept the plug block and wiring in the main body harness because as I stated there wasn't a reason to strip it, but also the rear wiper/defrost switches can be used to control whatever I wanted to plug into the plugs in that plug block.
  9. I'll just stick to the wave
  10. The more hooks in the water, the more fish you will potentially catch... I friggin hate em, and anymore you can't screw around with them cause they just call you more if you do!
  11. No just don't... It "can" be done but really shouldn't. As mentioned the MJ is a unibody so you can't just put the body on a different frame. It's way more work than you are thinking and would take the most expert level of fabrication skill to do it right. You'd have to do major alterations to the structural integrity of the body and would more than likely weaken it to the point of dangerous. You could build a cage on the F250 frame and cut the MJ apart and weld it's panels to the cage but this would also be a ton of work.
  12. Yeah nothing sticks out to me in the pictures as a red flag. Definitely looks like a real good clean truck. If it's that nice in person I don't think the price is too far off honestly.
  13. I've seen this question before but can't say I've ever seen this done. Really you should be able to cut the kicker bars off, bolt the main hoop in the bed, then cut down and reweld the kickers to fit against the SWB wheel wells. Should be easy enough to do I'd think.
  14. As much as I love a clean wiring harness, You don't necessarily have to remove anything. About the only thing you'd remove is the rear wiper fluid hose and wiring for the rear defrost and wipers, everything else is used after the swap. I just used the entire harness since there is plenty of space and it wasn't worth my time to separate. These aren't racecars so the extra pound of wiring won't hurt anything.
  15. Can't you just buy new frames for CJs? If the tub is good it's not a bad deal at all. Even if the tub has some rot it's not a bad deal since it runs and drives. The way I see it, if you see yourself doing more or having more fun with this than the dirt bike, then get it!
  16. Check your brake light switch, it's located on the brake pedal. It may just need a little adjustment to sit correctly against the pedal.
  17. Yeah all those extras aren't worth much with a blown motor..
  18. Funny you mention that.. working on modeling the back half anyway.
  19. Check your CPS over real good. My blue truck did this exact thing to me one night coming home from work and ended up needing a tow at 2AM.. that was fun.. At first I thought fuel pump but eventually found my CPS wires were close enough to the exhaust that they had melted and it was causing a short and shutting the truck off. Replaced it and all was well again.
  20. Lay underneath it and take a look yourself, look on the driveshaft side of the gas tank, if it's welded it will be obvious. Idk why or how anyone would weld it on but I've seen dumber things. Unless your mechanic has never seen this style of lock ring in which case, id find a new mechanic. Take a picture of it and post it up so we can see what you are working with. More than likely your tank is rusting and leaking somewhere. Mine had a pin hole behind the fuel tank strap near the top and would only leak with more than 3/4 tank. Others have had the fuel pump assembly rust out. It's pretty common for these to occur.
  21. Lol this is actually pronounced cah-man-ch the e is silent. It is however named after the Comanche indians who were native to that area and according to the history books, the guy who founded the town misspelled Comanche when he named it. My grandparents lived there for many years and just recently moved to Davenport. My mom and uncles grew up there and I even lived there for a few years before my parents got a house together since they were still in highschool. Nice little town.

    Bows

100% agree mnkyboy, find an archery shop! So that you aren't going in completly blind, my advice would be to find a YouTube channel that specializes in archery to get some basic knowledge and maybe get an idea what kind of bow you'd want. The Hunting Public is one I have come to enjoy as they have great content and are local to my area. The reason I mention them, is they have some good videos about what to expect in the archery shop and a couple walkthroughs of the bow purchasing experience both in Bass Pro as well as an actual archery shops, so those would be perfect for you to watch. I myself am a gun guy and lucked out once in the last 8 months walking into the ammo section at Bass Pro as the shelf was being stocked. I got the limit of 9mm for my dad and watched the rest get picked while I was still standing there. Would really love to find some .22lr and 5.56 but luckily I quite enjoy black powder guns so I am still able to get ammo and powder and do some shooting.
  23. I'll give it a shot thanks
  24. Anyome know of a FREE app or program that you can draw on like MS Paint but is collaborative real-time like Google Docs? We need to be able to edit it simultaneously but also save it and reopen it for later editing. Everything I am finding is a one-time edit then download a .png, .pdf, ect and can't be edited later. Google Drawings only allows for shapes, you can't draw with a pen/pencil tool. Something like this just exist somewhere.
  25. Is there a way to remove embedded links from and existing post? My cupholder post in the vendors section has the embedded links that I want to remove but can't figure it out.
