I'm very happy with the Rubicon red ones.

I have them on all my Jeeps and 3 friends' Jeeps. We all noticed a huge improvement from whatever shock was on there previously. Both in ride quality and abiliry to absorb bumps. Those include Rancho 5000s, Napa Sensa-Trac, stock shocks, and various others.

Do that before replacing any more parts.

I can't find a definitive answer via Google. I'd have to go look at my early ECUs that I swapped for newer. 89 to 90 usually end in 428 or 429.

He went a while without breathing and with no heart beat. Nobody knows how long. Hopefully there's no brain damage.

Hey guys. I just got news earlier today that my friend Joe, who I worked with at the dealership from 1980 til 1992 and has continued to be like a little brother to me, is in ICU at a Phoenix hospital. He nearly died in his sleep this morning. We don't know how this will pan out. Joe is the guy who kept "the book" for many years, updated it, and presented it to me in recent years for my Tips. Try the 50 pumps and walk away trick first.

It's true. Those systems were a bear to bleed. After the initial bleeding, we would pump the pedal 50 times without bleeding and walk away for 15 minutes. Come back, it's fine.
