  2. Agreed. Rotella T3 with MMO works well and rather fast.
  3. Permatex #2 on the threads?
  4. check the vacuum hoses below the throttle body.
  5. You're getting way ahead of yourself. Make sure you have vacuum at the ball and then at the firewall.
  6. Could be low fuel pressure.....
  7. LOL. I couldn't resist jabbing you.
  8. What's a derby?
  9. This is exactly true. I know from firsthand experience.
  10. The 17s are a bit taller than a 31" Ain't gonna fit on stock height.
  11. Have you tried shutting it off and restarting after 20 seconds or so?
  12. How about from the vacuum ball to the firewall? Have vacuum there?
  13. Spray around those vacuum lines on the intake with carb cleaner while the engine is running and see what happens.

  15. I didn't remove that piece when I replaced the heater core in my wife's 88....
  16. Yep. Put the hose on the return line from the fuel pump module/unit. Smaller of the 2 lines.
  17. That must be MMO. It's old and proven.
  18. Fram has gotten worse and worse. The anti-drainback issue is the biggest deal. If a filter were mounted like the good old days, it wouldn't be so critical.
  19. I'ts not good to run out 4.0s at that low of a temperature. Ideally, it's 195*
  20. If the pump doesn't work, hook up a hose to the return line and siphon/pump it out from there.
  21. Yep. But HO is still on it's side.....
  22. The anti-drainback valve is a huge issue on our Jeeps which have the oil filters mounted upside down. Crappy valves=longer time to build oil pressure and oil flow to the bearings on start up. Wix has good ones. Many others have crappy ones or none at all.
