Spray around those vacuum lines on the intake with carb cleaner while the engine is running and see what happens.

Fram has gotten worse and worse. The anti-drainback issue is the biggest deal. If a filter were mounted like the good old days, it wouldn't be so critical.

The anti-drainback valve is a huge issue on our Jeeps which have the oil filters mounted upside down. Crappy valves=longer time to build oil pressure and oil flow to the bearings on start up. Wix has good ones. Many others have crappy ones or none at all.
