  1. Turns out the fuel pump was not the problem. I have a cranking but no starting problem. My next step is to try check the fuel pressure and various sensors. Thoughts?
  2. Hi guys, This is how I got gas out of the tank--the difference being that I used a quick burst of 50 psi from my air compressor for the pressure. Worked perfectly! I put a new fuel pump in the tank but she still won't start. I've also replace the fuel filter, cap, rotor, plugs and wires. Anyone have any ideas? Any suggestions are helpful! Thanks!
  3. Thanks for all the help everyone. I'll let you know how it turns out.
  4. I can't seem to get the hose all the way in the tank. Is there a trick to it?
  5. Does anyone know if how to syphon gas from the 89 comanche fuel tank? My fuel pump does not work so I'm thinking that I need to drain some gas before removing/installing a new pump. Thanks for all the help!
  6. Looks really good!
  7. I have headers on my MJ at the moment and make it sound like a V-8: really cool! The problem I'm having is that the universal joint at the axel for the 4 wheel drive is grinding the collector when I go over some bumps. So I'm looking for any suggestions as to how to correct the problem. I'm leaning towards new headers made for a 4x4 but not sure there is a difference between 2x and 4x headers. Pacesetter says they have them for both applications, but I'm leary due to cost of about $450. Any suggestions? Albee
  8. I think I put this in the wrong section. Sorry about that! Gotta be the new guy. :) Albee
  9. Has anyone put headers on a 4X4 MJ with a straight six? If so, do you have any recommendations? Albee :wrench:
