Here's a thought. Are the brake lights staying on and the TC not locking due to an issue with the switches at the brake pedal??????

Yeah, but how? If someone wants to make his/her own reservoir, how can they create a home-brew check valve? Buy one. Or snag one at the junkyard. Make sure it's a check valve and not a vacuum delay valve like used on the old carbureted vehicles. https://www.google.com/search?q=vacuum+check+valve&rlz=1C1KMZB_enUS546US547&espv=2&biw=1344&bih=735&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjt0L3Jm9DOAhUM4WMKHcCJCLMQsAQImgE&dpr=1.25 -

I checked it out. Vacuum can be pulled on the chamber through the valve, but vacuum cannot be lost out the other direction. -

Here ya go. It's just a sealed reservoir with a one way check valve inside on the vacuum SOURCE side. FWIW, I cut open one of those metal cans and there's a built-in check valve for the vacuum source. -

I'm not sure. I always thought there was a diaphragm inside/valve/ or something. I don't have any small ones to destroy, only the football sized ones. Did you get my emails?> -

The 4wd system can be affected if you have a CAD front axle and you haven't bypassed it yet. -

My buddy needs these 2 pieces of trim. One for each side. Image Not FoundImage Not Found He lives in Tucson. Gray color preferably, but not a huge issue if he has to paint them to match his interior. They go along the door and meet up with the rear trim panel. Some idiot previous owner felt the need to butcher them.
