You're weird, so I signed it twice. Do we get any extra bennies for dual exhaust?

Fella called me up the other night. Asked, "Are you the Jeep guy South of town? Assured him I was. He had a Jeep pick up he was trying to sell. Wondered if I was interested. We talked. It was a 1990 MJ. Belonged to his dad. His folks split and she got the truck. She doesn't want it. The kid doesn't want it. Asking $1200. Went in to look at it. Tried for half an hour to start it. Wouldn't start and finally killed the battery. Kid swore it was running when he parked it 2 weeks ago. I believed him. Offered him $400. Took me 10 minutes to convince that's all a non running P/U was worth. Got it for $450. Got it home. Put 2 gallons of gas in it. Started it and drove it down the road a piece and back. Ran great. Headliner missing. Lower radiator hose leaks. Needs washed. Radio, Tape works. Contents of glove box

I don't believe this. Never really thought about the headliner other than noted the fact that a couple were missing one. Was out checking on colors for Sam and out of 13 MJ'S only 3 had headliners. IF I had the money I'd be placing a order for 10 headliners, But I don't. One had a solution, kind of. One had the board missing and the cab roof painted to match. Sam. This is the color I want. Looks like more of a Dark Red. Sun Roof

You can't accurately assess body damage from a couple pics. But it does look repairable. I'd certainly try before scrapping it. If the right front frame horn isn't bent then it's a R&R job. If it is bent then if not to bad can be straightened. Or cut the piece out and replace. Try opening both front doors will give a clue. Do they open and close freely with no hang ups or noises? If they bind then you have serious body damage.

Nice. But can it pull a MJ?
-
Used tires are a drug on the market. Take what ever you can get for them and be thankful you got that much.

2006 Dodge 1500, 1/2 ton. Not only matches my J20 for pulling but rides a heck of a darn sight softer and the radio-CD works.

86' Mj Hinge Pin/roll Pin Removal
jimoshel replied to 702_MJ's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
First soak with penetrating oil. Try to tap it out using a punch a hair smaller than the hole. This won't work because of the worn spot on the pin but try it anyway, just so you can say you tried. After giving up with that method get a drill bit a hair smaller than the pin hole. Now try drilling the pin out. After a good start the bit will jamb in the pin and jerk the drill out of your hands, giving your wrists a good whack as it spins around. Loosen the chuck and release the bit from the chuck. Say to h*ll with it and use it the way it is. Ask me how I know. -
Ruger has made it easy for you to contact your congressional reps both state and federal and even Mr. Obama if you like. I generally don’t believe these things help, however, Ruger is a respected name and they are offering a service to those believing in the 2nd Amendment. Large numbers of responses will help - even the deaf ears can read. http://www.ruger.com/micros/advocacy/takeAction.html

patients to operate on. The first surgeon, from New York , says, 'I like to see accountants on my operating table because when you open them up, everything inside is numbered.' The second, from Chicago , responds, 'Yeah, but you should try electricians! Everything inside them is color coded.' The third surgeon, from Dallas , says, 'No, I really think librarians are the best, everything inside them is in alphabetical order.' The fourth surgeon, from Los Angeles chimes in: 'You know, I like construction workers...Those guys always understand when you have a few parts left over.' But the fifth surgeon, from Washington , DC shut them all up when he observed: 'You're all wrong. Politicians are the easiest to operate on. There's no guts, no heart, no balls, no brains, and no spine.. Plus, the head and the @$$ are interchangeable.'

Actually it was on there when I got it. I had nothing to do with it. And as for the language, after my third visit there I could actually understand it. Also their inability to speak comprehensible English is more then made up for with their friendliness and open honesty. I loved the people and the country. well,, except for some of the desert, Gibson, areas. -
WRZ's comanche Now the 96 od2 swap in progress
jimoshel replied to Wrz's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
With bucket seats it makes no difference but with a bench seat and a column shift your sweetie can sit closer. If you want a floor shift find a XJ with same auto, AW4 and the swap will be a P&P. -
Having done all, A thru E, i can argue either side of the question. What it boils down to, is what can the wallet take?
