  2. The other day I got a job writing the advice column for the local paper. After writing my first column I got fired. I don't understand it. Maybe some body here can tell me why? Dear Jim, I hope you can help me. The other day I set off for work, leaving my husband in the house watching TV. My Jeep stalled and then quit completely about a mile down the road and i had to walk back to the house to get my husbands help. When I got home I couldn't believe my eyes. He was in our bed with the neighbors daughter. I am 32, my husband is 34 and the neighbors daughter is 19. We have been married for 10 years. When I confronted him, he broke down and admitted they had been having an affair for the past 3 years. He won't go to counseling and I'm afraid I am a wreck and need advice urgently. Can you please help? Sincerely, Sheila Dear Sheila, A Jeep stalling after being driven a short distance can be caused by a variety of faults with the engine. Start by checking that there is no debris in the fuel line.If it is clear check the vacuum pipes and hoses on the intake manifold and also check all grounding wires. If none of these approaches solves the problem, it could be that the fuel pump itself is faulty, causing low delivery pressure to the injectors. I hope this helps. Jim
  3. I once had a lady tell me that she thought my MJ was the neatest, coolest, most beautiful, best running machine she had ever seen her life. She sounded so sincere I unlocked the door and let her out.
  4. I always thought I would prefer the side mounted boxes over the across the bed ones. Not give up any bed space. Any one has any experience with them?
  5. That's what I like about this forum. Educational, informative, enlightening and amusing.
  6. In 2006 the GF bought herself a new Dakota. A couple days later we went to Auto Zone and got a tool box for it. 2 days later she decided she didn't like the Dakota so traded it in for a 1500. I removed the box and it sat it behind the garage until about a month ago, I mounted it on my DD, '87MJ. Perfect fit. Only thing I don't like is the lid is full length, hinged in front. I would have preferred one with 2 lids, each one opening from the side, hinged in the middle. Also would have preferred one with the tray in it that slides from side to side. Pics tomorrow. It's dark an cold out now. As promised. Also there seems to be a tray in it. Mind must be slipping.
  7. TNX Correy, Appreciate it. Wondering if the Red is from the tattoo being fresh, or from that part of the bod being rubbed against something.
  8. Subaru floor mats?
  9. I'll bite. What's a 'Tramp stamp'? When I read that a picture of a lady, female?, standing on a street corner with a mattress strapped to her back comes to mind. :dunno:

  11. What started out as a intelligent discussion has obviously deteriorated to the point of disgusting bawdiness, sliminess and seamy innuendos. Not to mention childish put downs aimed at fat broads :???: I'm getting out of here before I have a erect,,,,,,,er,,vomit. I will deny having any part in these proceedings.
  12. Anything that will plug the hole. JB Weld has a consistancy one step above water when fresh. Just need to plug the hole until it starts setting.
  13. How do you find it on a fat girl? Roll her in flour and look for the wet spot spot.
  14. You are. But you crack me up. :jump: Confucious say "Woman who fly upside down, have dirty crack up."
  15. I tried a on line dating site once. Sent in the required a little about me, looking for, etc, etc. The response was overwhelming. I couldn't believe the responses, I was getting, Offers of marriage, offers for one night stands, It was a rush. Wondering, I looked at my profile and pics a little closer. It was embarrassing. In one of the pics my fly was open and 'it' was exposed. Oh well. I know a true love is out there someplace, just waiting for me. Wonder if Alexia is going to call me first or if I should make the first move.
  16. Congrats Marcel. Would like to have a eyeball with ya if your ever in the area.
  17. A couple years ago I saw a 4dr XJ with another XJ top on top of it. Looked like they had cut the top off at the bottom of the window posts, even with the body line and attached it to the top of another XJ. Kept the XJ windshield. Looked weird as h*ll but it was batting on down the highway OK. Had Oklahoma plates. And curtains over the windows.
  18. I thought about the difference in Canadian currency colors after I posted that.
  19. It would be stronger and less absorbent. It is runnier when first applied so it will need something behind it if applied on a horizontal plane. Or something to fill the hole with, like a nail head.
  20. You should have entered the show. Might have won something.
  21. Ever hear of hundreds? Or even fifties?
  22. Carry a wad of cash with you when you go. I'ts amazing how often a firm price will suddenly become flexible when they see the color green.

I see they improved the road since the last time I went over it in my '49 Hudson.
  24. Any body that pays a couple hundred grand for a automobile doesn't get their pinkies dirty working on them. They got peons for that.
  25. I've used Bondo, Glass and weld to fill holes. Properly done they all work. If you don't have welding skills and can't afford to farm it out, then do it yourself and use Bondo. The main reason Bondfo fails is lack of proper preparation, Cleaning, prepping the surface. The second biggest reason it fails is improper mixing and curing. On a flat surface you need to countersink the hole and surrounding area to give the Bondo something to stick to.For a small hole like you're describing sand the area good, down to bare metal for a area 1inch in diameter that"s a 1/2 inch area around the hole. Take a punch with a rounded head, a screw or bolt head will work, center it on the hole and give it a smack. You don't want a big dent. a 1/4-3/8 will be adequate, Follow instructions on the Bondo and mix and apply. Build it up just a hair so you can sand it down and make it smooth and even with the surrounding surface. Do not try it if it's cold out. Wait for a warm day or have a heated garage. Also for a hole no bigger than you're describing JB Weld just might work.
