  1. If your doing a soa in the rear what length collapsed and extended are we looking at? Thanks in advance
  2. Nice paint  keep going!
  3. I NEED that white one
  4. Been busy doing little things to the truck lately, put some lights on the front bumper, put a new pinion seal in the rear axle and put some door trim on the fenders so my tires don't get cut up as much when flexing and I've been collecting stuff to make on board air :wrench:
  5. I plan to have a front locker and longarms by then and a new set of 33s! Should be a great first trip out to rausch! My local club plans on going as well! 20-30 people
  6. I can take pics of my original swb rear frame rails for you... I know they're for sure original too
  7. It would still be doing a up/down motion just on a angled surface... After reading about all types of longarms for a week now ive come to the conclusion that I'll just save up for the Clayton kit because of it's crossmember and installation is very easy compared to some other kits i.e. Rough countrys longarm upgrade has a tcase drop built in and you also have the tranny mount bolts totally exsposed
  8. If your willing to dish out the money for those axles why not go d60 in the front and a 14b in the back with 36-37s?
  9. In New York your allowed to have passengers in the bed of a pickup for up to 5 miles on town roads( no major roadways )... Look into that as well. Nice looking truck
  10. I have to stop going on the Internet for a while because my jeep list just keeps growing! That kit is next after my on board air :wrench:
  11. Didn't think of that! Makes sense now thanks! :waving:
  12. Instead of beating a deadhorse and making another thread I'll just ask here.. If I'm keeping my stock driveshaft and welding on new perches what's the pinion angle suppose to be? About 2 degrees ^ ??? Also where's the cheapest place to order axle side shock mounts?
  13. Gunmetal body color and everything else black... I'd paint the stripe in the hood black too
  14. I have all the tools to make my own but I don't have the time to have my truck off the road that long as it's my daily driver, I'm most likely going with a ylink and I understand about the turning upside part but wouldn't that also happen if he was going down a hill?
  15. Hey guys I've been looking at claytons longarm upgrade and like the ylink but I've heard they preload when hillclimbing... Id like the idea of a 4 link because if you broke an upper arm you could still drive it out of the trail but there's not a whole not of room for the arms... And ivw read that 3 links move from side to side under hard breaking and also move when flexed out... I'm really leaning towards a y link...I'm having a local fab shop make my LA but I just need some more opinions Thanks -Nick :agree:
  16. Bash on the Cherokee :D plus the departure angle on manches isn't that great... Ask my rear bumper how it knows  I've never gotten hungup on the axles always between the crossmember and the front leaf mounts usually are the first to hit when I go over obstacles... Which is why I'm making sliders after longarms
  17. I would buy one if you made em  Also if you have 3 water outlets in the back I'd suggest putting 2 in the front on each corner... Just small enough slits for water to get out... Also like the d-ring idea!
  18. Thanks for posting this! I'm doing my seal in a couple days
  19. My dads a locksmith so I'll just call him  but yes I do know how the hanger trick and my rear slider isn't lockable so I can just scoot in through there!
  20. If I was closer you could have my dent free front bumper and then I'm sure that'd help with the whole reproduction phase because I'd like one :D goodluck with this Rob!
  21. Just use acetone, brake fluid eats everything!
  22. It cost 3x as much to Store and make then 10% ethanol.... I did a whole term paper on it it's just another way for everybody who likes saving trees to spend their money
  23. That's Comanche countys MJ and I'd get adj upper and lower control arms but I'm saving up for the Clayton longarm upgrade
  24. Funny post Jim :clapping: but yeah we've all had a scare or two by the females in our lives.. My gf has an irregular period to begin with but if the girl doesn't eat alot of meat or she exercises alot it can throw off her monthly thing... I'd say your safe from my experiences!
  25. This truck has been my background on my phone since like November! It's my dream Comanche and what mine will hopefully look like when I'm "Done" Enoy it!!!!!
