  1. Just take the doors off and stick your face out the side if you like mud that much! Mud isn't my thing it eats seals and joints...Not like animal seals and smokable joints either!

    Insurance

Maybe you'll insure me Jim! The lowest rate I could find for My camaro without any coverage just liability is 5,800 for 6 months!!!!!!! I've never been in an accident or received a ticket.... (knocks on wood) Screw insurance companies!
  3. T-56 swap ! Thought about putting one in my camaro instead of the t-5 behind a 350 it's holding up but I don't trust it
  4. Got deathwobble with the gf in the pass seat today on the highwayand I think we both $#!& our pants! My pitman arm-draglink joint is shot and I think it wollewed out the pitman arm made everything worse... Shook my truck so bad my tc linkage fell out of place and my control arms are loose now :fs1:  Frrrrreaking Jeep!
  5. Shackle installation instruction- take out rusty dirt covered ones out put new shiny ones in! Coil spring installation- unbolt shocks brakelines upper control arms then put new coils and or spacers in then attach control arms then shocks and brakelines! Tighten everything once again! Then drive it!
  6. Happy bday man! I went fishing today too at the beach didn't catch anything but still a bad day of fishing is better then a bad day at work!
  7. Up here by thee ghetto they like to call them by there size... Are those 22s sonnn? Oh damn dem $#!&z is ill..... I love watching them pass my house with 24" wheelims on a crown Vic blasting ke$ha
  8. Besides worlds fastest Comanche engine bay I think yours is the cleanest on here! Keep up the work man this truck is so killer!
  9. What do I think? I think it's awesome!!!!! Grands are a dime a dozen around here....
  10. I'd actually make every lower arm an inch longer then the chart says for the the wheel to be centered and I'd make the uppers 1.5" longer for the correct pinion angle, this is just what I found works best... I'm at ~6.25 inches of lift and I set my lowers at 18" and my uppers at about 16"
  11. Don't forget new gaskets :wrench:
  12. Searching CL and found this poor little mj, looks like it made it's way to pimp my ride in Cali :ack:  http://newhaven.craigslist.org/cto/2365157242.html
  13. Went to the beach again the other day and found this washed up on shore! Got some artsy shots by it Since I put the lift in I've been enjoying it although I have to adjust both pinion angles I'm getting some mild vibes on the highway and I'll be lowering it 2 inches soon so hopefully that'll help out
  14. Thanks man! It's nice to get some feedback on all your work! I'll have more pics up shortly!
  15. Depends on the terrain you wheel on, if you wheel on sand and softer dirt then a wider tire would be best but for mud and snow skinnier tires dig down to solid ground. I'm currently running 33/12.5s and love how it handles on the road with a wider stance
  16. I'll be there with a few friends and a couple people from my local club
  17. I bought the coils, all the control arms, track bar and bracket for 300 from a member on here and the rest I pieced together using YJ brakelines up front and a dakota line in the rear, got my perches from Jegs under the mopar section and bought my rims ad tires locally for 100 so closer to $600 which isn't bad at all if you think about it! But hopefully in the next month or so I'll have Clayton long arms and 1ton currie steering stuff :D then gears and 35s down the road and somewhere in the mist of all that bedline the bed underside and put in floorpans..... Lots to do! Edit: forgot to mention shocks which were $ 184.34 so 780ish
  18. Some measurements would be greatly appreciated wade :D
  19. Hanging out by the Jedi playing on some of the rocks :D And the bridge to fire island! Very high up above the water and with alot of lift it's pretty scary driving on one lane!
  20. Made a beach run today with a friend my local club, Also if you guys have heard of the serial killer who's been killing prostitutes from NJ and NYC and burying them at some o the beaches near my town, there were cops and medical examiners and helicopters all over today  they mustve found another body or parts or something but I made it to the beach for a shakedown run none the less! Here's my pics for the day  My friends TJ on 35s passing a water tower for the bathrooms and what not at the beaches
  21. Just did my soa and the slipyoke is hanging out a little too far for comfort so if anyone has a rear driveshaft from a 4x4 manual-->d35 rear axle I could really use it! Thanks -Nick
  22. Lift is in! Got everything bolted up brakes bled(need to do them again still air in the lines :shake: ) it droves straight as an arrow but I'm stilll going to get an alignment and lengthen my lcas a hair... Can't wait to take it to the trails! And right after I backed out of my driveway! I was pretty freakin excited! I still need to make a bracket for the rear prop valve and rubber brakeline as well as get a longer breather hose for the rear axle then I'm set until longarms!
  23. I'm at about 7" of lift in the rear and the Dakota rear is just long enough for daily driving but I'll have to remount the top line for trail use... Yj brakelines up front fit perfect!
  24. I've always wanted a mini crawler rc but never knew where to start or look for a ready to run setup, I built my traxxas t-maxx 2.5 years ago and then put the 3.3 motor on it for shacks and wiggles which was a blast! Any info about getting one of these little guys so I can slap a Manche body on it would be great -Nick
