  1. Got my Nate's 64" bumper on today!! Been a long time since it had a bumper!! Image Not Found Image Not Found Image Not Found Image Not Found Jerry
  2. Well, got a Nate's 4x4 rear bumper from a friend of mine as a thank you for helping with his MJ. He ordered it, and I got it Wed. Image Not Found Image Not Found I primed it: Image Not Found Image Not Found Then painted it: Image Not Found Image Not Found Image Not Found Tomorrow, installation!! Jerry
  3. That is the exact stance I'm looking for my Eliminator! Getting the Zone kit when tax refund comes back. Nice truck!! Jerry
  4. I guess you would have to find another MJ wiring harness to cut up to wire the LED's in. My mods on my Eliminator are reversible for future restoration if I choose to. I need these, as, after one wreck destroyed one, and another almost took the other one out, I'mean tired of being paranoid about these factory lights! Jerry
  5. Where did you get the bottom Eliminator stripes? I have an '88 Eliminator I'm restoring, and I can only find the 90's Eliminator stripes. Beautiful truck!!! Jerry
  6. 87MJTIM, my '88 Eliminator isn't in my signature for some reason, it's the one I had to do the BA10/5 slave for. Jerry
  7. I didn't take out the shift tower when I did my slave. I just pulled the boot up through the floor, and spun the keeper collar for the shifter off with two screw drivers, and pulled the shifter straight up out of the tower. Jerry
  8. A 2014 Kia Soul ran a red light, and hit me at about 50 mph (says the accident report) Image Not Found Insurance gave me $1875 to FIX it!! Damn, I was hoping for $1000 AND them not total it!! After another bed, tail lights, and some paint, total cost, $175: Image Not Found Jerry
  9. Interesting, never saw an Eliminator with a bench seat! Looks to be a fun project. To piggy back on what StrokerMJ said, you will also find an unused plug by the throttle body, that is used for the auto tranny, don't need it. Welcome to the Club!! Jerry
  10. Outlaw Star and I will be going to Jeep Beach next year as well, you are more then welcome to hang out with us. PM Outlaw Star, as he has building a 2.5 '87 MJ. He has some great ideas on these 2.5's Jerry
  11. Thanks, again, Outlaw Star!! Jerry
  12. Well, got another upgrade for the Eliminator, this XJ D44 from Outlaw Star. Image Not Found We are basically swapping D44's, he's getting the 4.10 D44 from my '86 MJ for his 4 cyl MJ, and I'm getting his 3.55 D44. Just have to cut off the perches and shock mounts, and weld spring under perches with the correct spacing. Jerry
  13. I thought about doing the LED bulbs, but, on one side, the bulb bracket broke off, and it just didn't seem worth it to try and make the bulbs work. Again, just a personal preference. Jerry
  14. Because I'm OCD, I modded the plastic sheet that was on the left side to work on the right side, as the driving/fog light switch was on the left side already. I also extended the wiring so it would be enough to go to the other side. I wanted both switches to balance out, not all on one side. Just a personal preference. Jerry
  15. Double post, sorry
  16. Just cost of shipping. I'm in South Florida, about 30 miles north of West Palm Beach. Let me know where you live, and I can get you a quote. I try to help out when I can. Jerry
  17. The LED panels I got, unfortunately, were discontinued, but, you can use any light panels that can fit inside the light housing. Any auto parts store has LED panels of varying sizes. In my case, I had to make a gasket, as the one that was with the truck had strunk so it was too short. Even though my truck didn't come with the cargo light, the complete wiring was there. The switch wiring was behind the left side switch panel, and the power wire for the light was curled up behind the driver side B-Pillar light. Originally, the light was grounded through both mounting screws. On mine, I just put another screw in just for the lights and attached the LED panels' neg. wire to that. You should be able to see that in the pic with the light cover off. As for the light bulb brackets, I just carefully cut them off with an Xacto knife blade, leaving just thr plastic. Let me know if you guys need more info. Jerry
  18. Hey, I have one still attached to my old bed that's going to be built as a trailer. It's in great shape. Jerry
  19. Finally installed the OEM cargo light and OEM switch, with a twist. I ditched the bulb brackets and installed two LED panels: Image Not Found Here it is installed: Image Not Found And with it lit up: Image Not Found Image Not Found Here is the switch: Image Not Found I think it turned out ok. Jerry

  21. I was wondering if you would see this, LOL!! Jerry
  22. Got some bling for the Eliminator, thanks to Outlaw Star for the XJ Laredo door handles! Image Not Found Image Not Found Jerry
  23. LOL, about the XJ. I had the county get on me for having my MJ parts truck on the side of the house!! So, it was disassembled under the carport in much the same fashion. The carcass was put on a rollback and taken to the scrapyard! I assume, with the stripes, it's an Eliminator like mine. Jerry
  24. Here is how the engine removal happened with the parts truck, and loading it into the Eliminator. Image Not Found Image Not Found Image Not Found Image Not Found Image Not Found Image Not Found Here are two pics showing how tight the space was to back the truck in. And mind you, I backed right under the hoisted engine and tranny!! Image Not Found Image Not Found She has really worked well for me!! Jerry
