  1. At 4.5" you will be ok with just adjustable arms. drop brackets would be a nice addition though, I run both adjustible arms and drop brackets.
  2. Its amazing you can wheel that thing with those big mirrors, the trees here in the NW usually do the mirror delete mod for you.
  3. Howdy neighbor.
  4. Comanches don't have a regular frame its a unit frame which is a cross between a unibody and a frame, so technically it doesn't come off. The Dakota uses a traditional frame so it would be a major job to swap it. Most people just install frame stiffeners/plate the unit frame.
  5. My SOA kit was very high quality and bolted right on. I ran it for several years on my D35 now its welded to my D44.
  6. I have Dakota seats in mine, I wouldn't think the Durango seats would be that different.
  7. Its not an XJ waggy its a full size wagoneer and you only want the later drivers drop axles. Not sure on the trucks but my International scout ii has a passenger side drop front axle, I would think the trucks would be as well.
  8. I wouldn't be worried about it as long as you had the proper hubcentric rings to match the spacers to your wheels.
  9. Make sure they are not c clip axles. Your 87 should be non c clip but 89 is a split year so it could have either in it.
  10. Good, I didn't when I first lifted mine. It rode like crap and I had to do a ton of trimming to get 33s on the truck due to the control arm angle pulling the axle back.
  11. No it seemed to go up hills fine, I never drove it on stock size tires so I'm not sure what the difference would be.. I did lots of mountain driving with no issues.
  12. If your set on the RRO lift make sure you get adjustable arms and/or drop brackets. They like to sell lift kits that are missing components to make the price look cheap so make sure you do homework and get everything you need. Their basic kit will lift your truck but you won't be happy with it. I started out with their 5" kit too and I ended up adding a lot of parts to make it work well.
  13. Darren here on Comanche Club ran an XJ in tough trucks a few years ago.
  14. I daily drove mine for a while with 3.55s and 31x10.50s then I went to 33x12.50s still with 3.55s. The 31s were fine,but the 33s sucked. I'm now at 4.88s with the 33s
  15. Mine are mostly black, they started out as white wagon wheels.

    Crazy mad flex

  17. 63 hardtops are very hard to find, I would have loved to get one but I'm ok with my sedan/post.
  18. When I bought it I was look for a 64-65ish falcon but the 63 has grown on me.
  19. Mine have been on for a few years and they still look great even the 3x5s.
  20. I have never seen a spacer or a bigger TB fo the TBI 2.5l. Everything you will find will be for the MPFI 2.5l
  21. You only get the milky oil if coolant is mixing with oil. You could just be blown between a coolant port and a combustion chamber which would over pressurize the cooling system.
  22. Your gonna find a lot more help in tech then in the shout box. I would start a tech thread.
  23. I would take a 7.3l powerstroke in a second over a 24valve cummins. Also IMO engine aside the Ford is a much better built truck.
