  1. I don't have any crawlers but i have a monster truck,a 4WD buggy, and two stadium trucks here's three of them and one of my sons toy trucks
  2. I got some pics of mine and found some of my sons missing toys ;) BTW i am using my factory seatbelts
  3. I didnt take any pics while i was building them so the pics i have all suck. I may be able to get better ones. IIRC its 1" Square for the risers and 1/4 plate for the tabs, basicaly scrap i had laying around. i pretty much mocked up the seats in the truck and made what was need to bolt them in,the floor in an MJ is a pain to work with so every mount is different. each rear corner has its own mount and the front is a "T" with one center riser.I got the seats with no rails so thats why i used the Ford conversion van ones, they are a generic rail not Ford specific
  4. I had to custom build all my brackets for my 97 Dakota seats,I have the buckets with the folding console/center seat. I should have pics on my build thread
  5. I think it rides much better then it did stock. I have them with OME springs up front and SOA in the rear and it does seem to have a pretty soft smooth ride even with my screwed up suspension/steering geometry up front(still on stock LCAs,for now).
  6. my neighbor broke a D44 in his 4.0L BA10 daily driver MJ. doesnt mean anything is wrong with D44s. whats wierd is hes had the 4.0L and the D44 rebuilt but the original BA10 is going strong
  7. The only D35 I've ever had die on me was behind the only 2.5 I've ever had. i think thats a case of bad luck.
  8. what are you planning to do with you MJ that a D35 couldnt handle? I can't see you breaking one with a 2.5L 2wd unless your planning to desert race it
  9. I have the RRO shocks and havent had any issues with them. Not sure who makes them but they are the same ones RC sells the fronts are say MEXICO 009164 part# 651896 couldnt see the numbers on the rears
  10. I'm not in a big hurry as the rest of my MPFI swap is still under the hood of my brothers YJ
  11. I need a 2.5L harness for an MPFI swap. somebody must have one laying around from a parts truck or a 4.0L swap.
  12. is 2" even enough lift to worry about it? stock links should be ok.
  13. I didnt notice anything either with 24# ford injectors but i wasnt expecting anything either. I needed injectors and the Ford injectors were cheaper,i also prefer Bosch over the OEM Siemens/Deka injectors. the Bosch ones should be more reliable.
  14. not sure were they ended up,we broke and took off early so we missed the sand. Yea, 101 used to be an easy drive but as busy as the coast has become it is bumper to bumper between Newport and Astoria. lucky for me I'm usually heading south from newport so traffics not so bad. it is a nice drive though one of these days i want to run 101 on my bike
  15. I'm the one that never e-mailed you back  I was looking for a front axle so i asked you about both, figured if the price was right i would get both of them even though i wasnt really after a cad d30. i would have loved to get the 20 from you but i needed a front axle more at the time, guess i missed out :(
  16. the 19# are stock in a 1.9L ford escort, but I'm running 35# in my escort whats the impedence on the GM injectors you listed? i put a LT1 injector in my XJ and it fried the ECU within a few days. cooked the transistor that pulsed that injector. I'm now running the ford 5.0L/4.6L 24# yellow tops in it.
  17. Did you list your truck on Craigslist? i think i E-mailed you about this axle
  18. He calls it our dude truck, hes only 6 but he helps me with it as much as he can. Hes grown up wrenching on stuff so he is quite handy.
  19. took the axle out tonight, now i need to figure out what i want to do with the suspension while its out. not sure yet what I'm gonna do but the factory control arms need to go
  20. Pulled out the broken CAD D30,so i can put in my non disco,ABS D30
  21. current 1989 SB 4wd 2.5L manual(AX4) Sport
  22. 101 is a real nice drive but also a very long real nice drive  I usually take I-5 down unless I'm stopping at my moms outside Newport then i run 101 the rest of the way down from there.
  23. Well come on down then  It would be a drive for you, its about 4hours for me and your another 1.5-2hrs from me. I guess if you made the drive down there you could get some tube work done at my brothers since I'm having a hard time gettin the bender up here.
  24. I had a set of those on the front of a desert buggy when i lived in Arizona, they were good tires. they got good traction and were hard to puncture which is great in the desert.
  25. we were in my brothers 79 Bronco which broke an axle putting us out a little early so we didnt make it to the sand but we got to play in the mud up in the woods. I didnt get much for pics but here's some that other people took Image Not Found Image Not Found Image Not Found Image Not Found Image Not Found a couple guys had trail cams and posted videos http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea ... =102506179 http://www.vimeo.com/8985062
