  1. Thanks !! I appreciate it but no thanks needed . It's what I like about this forum is the fact that people help eachother out .
  2. I have seen where on the torque converter where the front nose goes in the crank it breaks off when beaten on . If it was Hard to come apart , and could not be centered when put back together that would give a vibration .
  3. I have the other end of my old egr pipe that you can use for a plug . And it' should be plugged .
  4. Daveys , he might ship them to you .
  5. Yep, get a rebuilt unit as dasbulliwagen said or a nice low mileage box out of a jy .
  6. You can make an adjustable rod as Hornbrod did . He has a write up in the DIY section . This allows you to fine tune the rear brakes . The above is good for a quick fix and the adjustable valve is also a good fix .
  7. Brand new carpet is a $141 with free shipping on eBay . For the extra $16( not to mention shipping costs) I'd rather go with the new carpet.
  8. Yeah those plates look nothing like mine . Good to hear you don't need them .
  9. Had it for 2 weeks for the holidays . I had the Flu shot as well and the doc said there was a different strain and that's why I got sick .
  10. Do you have a ds that you can have shortened ? Mine cost a $100 to have it shortened with new spicer joints put in . Lengthining the shaft is more money . The 2wd shafts have rubber inside for dampening purposes and MAY give you problems if you areshortening it .
  11. Best thing to do is take yours out and measure it and see what ends it has. Mine is an 88 4x4 with no cruise and had a plastic clip . Mine Even had the factory number stamped in the cable as it exited the firewall .
  12. They are both Saginaw columns but the mounts may be different .
  13. It's actually garnet red . But yes very nice . Is it worth 200 shipped to your door ? If it's for a cherokee the ductwork/ will be different diffuser
  14. Mint = M aybe I m N ot T ruthful .
  15. I just tried this but my picture is too big . It says 50kb max . How do I make it smaller? Or do I need another pic? Thanks
  16. I was fortunate enough to be able to straighten a rust free but dented bumper with the jeeps bottle jack . Do you have pictures as to where it's dented at?
  17. My two cents : If you find used molding its a crap shoot as to wether or not the old double sided tape will come off with ease especially if someone has taken the moldings off before . 3M makes an adhesive remover that helps get the old tape off but it can still be a pain . 3m makes the new double sided tape but it's pricey and may not stick well to the old moldings . Xj moldings are the closest I've found but they are off a bit at the center line and some have the red or silver center . Afaik no one makes the exact repro moldings .
  18. Spots give a light pattern that are more straight forward and focused. Floods give a wide more close undefined pattern . The switch panel from any xj / mj will operate 2 different sets of lights .
  19. If it falls through with Scott I think I might have one . If so 20+ shipping for the drivers side only . It'll probably need painted as well .
  20. Solder , heat shrink and dielectric grease . Just my opinion .
  21. Fox followed up on this story . Everything he said was spot on .. They even showed a bracelet he was wearing with his friends who lost their lives . This guy gets everything he deserves !
  22. I seen that on Facebook days ago . It's a real shame to live off of other people sacrifices and recognition . And for what ? 10. % off at Macys . Or in his case Mcdonalds . I heard it's being pursued and charges will be filed .
  23. Or the service men and women or loved ones that are no longer with us . Merry Christmas !!
  24. If you're constantly looking in your rear view mirror when someone is tailgating you because having to find a nice factory bumper , tail lights , and tailgate will total out our trucks .
  25. It's always best to check both sides of the fuse with a test light just for that reason . Good to see it was only a fuse .
