    I'm mad

I used to have this happen often with our electronic /swipe card time clock . Most of the guys (me too) now back up with The old "punch clock" for a personal record of hours,O/T , double time ,Missed breaks etc. Our payroll is now done in Kansas , so as you can imagine they're not to swift on Canadian tax / deductions etc.,but once they know your tracking them suddenly they become VERY accurate :hmm: .....
  5. Check the ground wire behind the left rear tail lite first . While your there , check all the bulbs and sockets . Might as well gather up 4 new t/l screws ,your bound to snap off a few :waving:
  6. Those blinkers are only blinkers, right? The running lights are the lights that are on the corners. I know some people have had some weird issues when a lightbulb shorts out and causes some funky things to happen with the circuit and things go wonky. That's why I was asking. How many grounds are in the engine bay? I know there's the one that goes from battery to block, right behind the oil filter. Then, the one that goes to firewall, behind the throttle body. Where else? On my MJ the signal lite (front under h/lite) was also a park/running lite , in addition to "corner" lite which has the same functions including blinker :hmm: What year is yours? 90

  8. :???: I think Front turn sig.s are dual filiment ( one running lite & one signal lite )at least they were in my 90 , before I removed them to mount my fogs in that location . Mounted after-market marker lites for signals behind the grill and have had the intermittant "ghost " lite on my left T. sig. dash indicator ( w/ h-lites on only )Hope you guys have a solution for this one :help:
  9. My birthday is coming up soon...don't bother to wrap it

    " New Seat "

Easy fix.........just mount it on the XJ's "rocking" brackets :D Although, it will sit a little higher than stock :hmm: Good thing MJ's have rusty floors......now I have "hill assist " + back-up E-brake right below the stirrups . Talk about your full leather upolstery ! Pull your hat down tight ,get that far away look ,take a deep seat , and ride like your ex mother-in law is so close you can feel the air freezin' on your back . :nanner:

  12. New rear brake lines ( old ones rusted out & sprung a leak ) Not the most fun I've ever had ! Metric to sae adaptors galore and damn awkward to access without a hoist :headpop: Also installed a new master-cylinder just 'cause it was probably time. ...... Should mention , the lines blew 75 km in the boons on Sunday yet ! Drove over 500 km home thru the Fraser Canyon with front brakes only , kinda like being in the dentist chair for 6 hrs
  13. :agree: :Canadaflag:
  14. Bring it down!! I just restocked the fridge with fresh some cold ones!! I don't drink many, any-longer, so there is more for my friends!! CW We're doin' a trek in Sept. , B.C. to the Maritimes then back thru the U.S. ,so there might be an opportunity to swing by for a cold one .
  15. Your MJ looks great , now I'm absolutley going to get moving on my body work . Thanks for the motivation  :Canadaflag:

JEEEZE ......I bet you really miss the good old days when slavery was legal . I now understand your avatar , more than a little spun out I'd say . You might take note of the fact Henry Ford promoted the first unions so the people who built his cars could afford to buy them ! But hey , don't let the facts get in the way of what you choose to believe . Interesting Ford isn't looking for government handouts . I'm really trying to see your point of view , but I can't seem to get my head that far up my own a$$ ..... If you were close enough, I would stick my foot up your @$$. What an idiot... :shake:

  18. Hey CW , I was thinkin' of leavin' my MJ in your driveway for a while , I recon it would be much better for the visit . Nice work
  19. Is that the proper name of freeze plug? It looks like that may very well be the problem. The coolant seems to be pooled up & leaking pretty much just below the intake/exaust manifold. Looks like it will be a real fun ride removing all that stuff to get to the plug :headpop: It may not be as hard as you imagine :shake: , from the underside with good lighting , just drive a sturdy screwdriver thru the plug and pry it out . Clean out the opening and tap in the new plug using a socket about the same diameter, to keep the plug square with the block .( take it slow , you'll be fine )
  20. She's got my vote
  21. #1 cotton balls ( insert in nostrils ) #2 Pick up the first road kill you see ( place in trunk as diversion ) #3 ask that "Billy" guy on late nite info-mercials :dunno:
  22. Yup , ya can never have too much tech info
  23. Just guessing , could be a water pump , mine seem to self destruct about every 18-24 mo.s and your pics look like the same area as I've seen way too often . ( does the leak appear to be running down or off the lower hose ? ) A quick pressure test of the cooling system should let you pin-point the leak . :wavey:
