Need specs on what we are looking at. Year and model type of specs. Some wires you find are not connected at all, some are for radio harness, some are for dash switches you may not even have, options 😉. Most important wires are the 7 connected to bottom of steering column. Other important ones go to headlight switch. Haynes manual gives you a basic wiring sycmatics to get you started. FSM can be downloaded from the do it yourself section in a sticky link on top, So look for that. I have found it a pita when it comes to the wiring, over several years and many tinkering nights I have been just cutting the wires out as I have found I don't need them. Not recommended for most, I'm just simple and my truck just works when it wants too. Like me.

Yes you need complete gear setup. Better planetary gear set up that way. Also great time to install sye as well. Should be a service manual kicking around here for the teases.

Or a flange even. I myself need a pinion guard for sure as only have straps myself yet. I'm thinking that is a nice setup really for your platform 🤔. Definitely be useful for underbody skid..

Yeah those would work. Generally an add a leaf is preferred for hauling capacity and less chance of inverted shackle.

With 10.25" shackles of course.

I just had to enlarge main hole a bit and it went in alright. Other then that it was seemingly straight forward. Brake pedal hole fit a little loose but came together alright. Just need to finesse it to fit. Take a break and go back at it. You'll get it.
