  1. what's his screen name?
  2. all my whole jeeps are stickshift, so no worries there. guess I'll have to swing by the junkyard tomorrow. :D then all I need to do is iron out the other dozen or so electrical gremlins and my 90 should be ready for it's first real road test.
  3. roughly 26 inches
  4. whatever it is, it's the exact same length for an 88 4.0/auto as for a 90 4.0 stick. lemme see if I can scrounge us that bad one. might have pitched it already.
  5. beat me to it. I was going to suggest that. :D
  6. where did you get that switch? I have a similar bracket I swiped from an XJ with cruise, but the switch that came with it works backwards from what I need. :(
  7. the 95 is no more powerful than the 88.
  8. got a photo?
  9. Moab. with Rockport Offroad Park (RORP) in Illinois coming in second.
  10. show off. :D I'm conversing with one of our members to start up a new shirt/hoodie order. updates as events warrant.
  11. so when I installed a double booster into my 90, I screwed something up and ground too much off the rod and now the brake switch won't work. so my ingenious plan was to use the simple push switch I saw on my half-a-jeep. well, it turns out that the switch I found was for the cruise control and works opposite of what I need for a brake switch (my lights would be on until I pushed on the pedal). so now I'm wondering what to try next.... :dunno:
  12. I have a separate set of tires for mudding. means they last a lot longer and I can run normal treaded tires for the street.
  13. thank you sooooo much for posting that. I just experienced the same thing on my 90. I had swapped out the throttle body (sticking badly) and the old tps didn't want to come off, so I just grabbed one out of the junkyard box to put on the new tb. sure enough, it was doing what you described. I never would have thought to remove the tps harness and try it again. nothing changed so I tried another tps from the box. this one works great. :) and now I'll be drilling the old tps outta the old tb so I have a good spare.
  14. the long travel MJ kit is what I would get
  15. I wouldn't use that. the fixed LCAs (and maybe other things like the trac bar) won't be proper for 6".
  16. those XJ lift leaf packs will be worthless to you. but converting your truck to SOA using your stock leafs will give around 6" of lift.
  17. this only applies to factory bars. aftermarket bars are more universal since they mount differently.

I've removed the limit. what does it do now?

so you think it's a software issue?

    The Wave:

if I remember right, it's set to 1300 pixels. how wide can you possible need? :dunno: there has to be some sort of an upper limit.
  21. that truck was a huuuuge inspiration for me (and much of that wasn't even done to it yet when I first found it). he was one of the first to show his built MJ on the web. http://www.bc4x4.com/ryeguy/truck/comanche.asp
  22. when does it overheat? and how hot is it getting?
  23. would not be the first time I heard of someone's junkyard gauges being bad. :(
  24. but changing the internals of an axle is not for the feint of heart. if the gears are not set up right, it can ruin everything.
