  1. on my 88 the hood's rear seal leaked and the water trickled down inside and found a wire to travel along through the firewall where the factory seal was pretty well non-existant. I would sprinkle babypowder in there too.
  2. stupid tiny keyboard. :rotf:
  3. that is indeed the default. though I don't know if that was something that would have been reset or carried over. :dunno: should be easy enough to check the box in your settings and bring it back to normal.
  4. could be the windshield, could be one of the hoes in the firewall, could be a door seal. a trick I've used is to sprinkle baby powder around. the water will make trails through the powder and lead you back towards the source.
  5. probably more of a resto-mod. bring it back to new but with some improvements.

    Warning

we're just trying to show how nice of a guy you are. :D but seriously, only you (and mods) can see your own warning points.
  7. neoprene = still using my very first one from years ago foam = practically disposable didn't ask about acquiring the foam ones. couldn't think straight through my anger. and today I'll be mailing out all stickers and magnets that were in limbo waiting on the coozies (since I've got no idea when I might have the coozies).
  8. what you need to do depends entirely on how much lift you get. anything over 2-3" and you're going to need to look into brake lines, track bar, control arms, sway bar links, shocks, etc. whatever you do, if it turns out that you can use stock length control arms, I highly suggest dumping the stockers for some WJ arms. they are much beefier.
  9. Get a winter driver.
  10. oh... my... god... I don't think we're ever going to get these. I opened up the box to find the crappy foam coozies not the neoprene ones I ordered. now we start from scratch. again. there's no emoticon that properly expresses my rage...
  11. nothing is ever easy. but I'm heading out right now to go pick up our coozies. :D
  12. did you tell FF to check the spelling in that particular box?
  13. I can't see the video. says it's a bad link. :(
  14. even if we had that, it'd likely go though paypal anyways. I'm not a business :dunno: I do accept checks and M.O.s through snail mail too if you want to avoid paypal. :D (you should be able to use the debit card through paypal without having a balance on paypal)
  15. don't forget to change up the bolt pattern when you order the custom shafts.
  16. it'll be one of the pinned threads in the pub.
  17. yup, there should be a generic one out there that'll fit a long bed small pickup.

  19. matching it up front can be challenging...
  20. be aware of any drain holes in the body and don't plug them or you'll end up encouraging rust on other places.

     love it! I can totally see his eyebrow perk up as he tries to figure out why you're so bad at negotiating. :rotfl2:
  22. and why the heck does this semi-modern phone not have a daily alarm? :fs1:
  23. I think the question is, how will they ride..
  24. I have another new-old phone and it's taking some getting used to. the current big problem I'm having is that is organized my contacts by what it perceives to the the last name (and is generally NOT the actual last name). any way to change that? my internet searches have come up empty so far. :(

    Gm Problems

but that was a "GM" block. the conspiracy theory is that there's something wrong with the "Jeep" blocks...
