  1. if you go far enough up the chain, you "should" find someone that realizes the importance of making things right. glad you found that person. many, many moons ago I traded in my old craftsman ratchet for a newer one. I regret that immensely. I just didn't know any better and bet it could have easily been fixed. after breaking my 5th(?) 3/8" ratchet since then, I started using a 3/8" breaker bar (or the 1/2" ratchet) when at all possible. haven't broken one since.
  2. and it's still just February. honestly it sounds like it's a great time for a lot of you guys to use those vacation days and head to florida for a while. eventually it'll all pass.
  3. try aiming them just a bit lower. My uncle's Lincoln needed his lights tweaked juuust a bit down and he was no longer blinding people. Certain years of Rangers seem prone to that too.
  4. 12v relay conversion. no need for LEDs or the problems they bring.
  5. they. are. still. awesome. also my new backup lights now work. they are also awesome.
  6. that looks fantastic!
  7. the 44 was also available separate. or could have been swapped in.
  8. that be a standard leafpack
  9. just need some confirmation that the 2nd overload leaf is longer than the lowest leaf on both ends.
  10. tailgates seem to retain value even if they are messed up either way the parts are certainly worth saving.
  11. should be something in the link in my sig.
  12. at this point I think I'd scrap the entire thing for a dual booster setup and eliminate the rear prop valve. plus you'll gain superior braking power too.
  13. are you using the rear prop valve?
  14. would this info help make a better decision about which to use?
  15. did you weld on new perches or reused the stock XJ? for that high of a lift, I would definitely be looking at longarms.
  16. If you can remove the fabric without damaging it, you can have piece of mind that it can be returned to stock later on. then just recover the bench to whatever suits your fancy.
  17. overall the KJ bodies got some decent rust protection from the factory.
  18. this is why I bought all that KJ suspension stuff from the georgia yards. I have no intention of dealing with little pip squeaks like that when I do my lift. I did some suspension work on an older michigan car (late model Escort?) for a friend and got the trifecta of problems in the 3 bolts for the rear strut. one snapped bolt, one rounded off head, and one that endlessly spun in its hole. I still won the day, but 'twas a harsh lessen to learn about where the limit is for work I do just to save a friend a few bucks. some rust is for the pros.
  19. what trans is in the grand cherokee? what engine?
