epic. just epic. They deserve all the money they make for bringing us along on that journey. so far I've only seen it with and then talked to people that know a thing or 2 about comics (I myself was never a comic book reader, but I've got friends that are and so I can stay in teh loop enough to get references and such) so the real test will come in a couple weeks when I get back to GA and take my folks to it. They've seen a most of the key movies in this MCU but it's just not their cup of tea so "fan service" moments tend to be lost on them. It'll be a great indicator of how well the movie holds up as *a movie*. whew. what a ride.

my sub was more than enough that I didn't notice their absence. ymmv

I had incredible quality success with an expensivey 8" sub and components in the doors with the aim-able tweeters popped in right above the 5.25s. everything was super amped (can't quite recall the rms numbers) and the sound was like you were in the hall with the orchestra. originally I also had 6x9s in little boxes in the back corners but they added very little so I pulled them out. eventually I pulled the amps/sub and tried to replicate it in my dakota and it just wasn't the same.

when I bought my first MJ the hi-beams didn't work. turned out that rod had simply fallen out of place and wasn't pushing the switch at the base of the column. Only took me YEARS to discover that tidbit of knowledge.

normally I agree with the by-the-numbers approach, but 10s of thousands of Jeeps are out there rocking 8" rims with the big fat tires, mine included. an 8" rim is just 1/2" off the typical "range "minimum". you may need to play with the air pressure to find that sweet spot for tire wear but you'll be doing that anyway since it's a giant tire under a lightweight Jeep.

it's totally possible, you just need to find the right box. I had a small wedge box with a high end 8" woofer in it for the longest time (can't remember what I was feeding it, but was a TON of rms amps). I put it behind the passenger seat so it didn't liquefy my kidneys all the time I've seen custom enclosures with 12"ers down to simple bass tubes in MJs. it's such a tiny cab that you don't really need much box.

8" all day. running a 10" has been done, but very rarely so chances are good that any pics you see are 8"ers. Some run the factory 7" MJ rims.

fuel tank should have a sock in it. that might be what he's thinking of. But there will also be a fuel filter somewhere in a location that can be changed on a regular basis.
