  1. very, very doubtful. drop-in liners tend to be quite vehicle-specific.
  2. at 10 posts, the full classifieds will open up to you. post a couple more times and then I can move this over for ya.
  3. so my new 88 has some... "issues" with the exterior plastics (crumbles in my hands). as it so happens, I have a 96 XJ available to me for parts (but it's 700 miles away). does anyone know for sure that those underside bits of black will go right in? essentially I'll need them all (except for the flare itself).
  4. what about jacking up the front tires and see if they spin by hand with the same amount of force. maybe the drag will be obvious?
  5. don't worry about the vacuum actuated part. you'll be bypassing that anyways.
  6. nice! what's up with that grille guard?
  7. that deserves a whole bunch of emoticons!
  8. yes. the axle itself will go right in. I was just mentioning that the brake parts on your 2wd axle won't move to the 4wd axle.
  9. 2wd axles have a regular bearing, not a unit bearing and if I remember right the outer race comes already pressed into the rotor. plus the 4wd brakes changed at some point in time so you'll definitely want to know the year of the XJ.
  10. even 3.55 gears are enough of an improvement that I'd pay for moving the perches in the rear. keep in mind that 2wd and 4wd brakes are different up front.
  11. I assume this happens even after the tires are rotated?
  12. I have a new system. the new blades I just installed will be swapped in the fall for the old blades I just pulled. an acre of leaves from the giant trees surrounding the house is pretty harsh on the cutting edge and my attempts to get an edge back usually result in an unbalanced blade. heck, one year the "cutting edge" was almost as dull as the back side of the blade! oh, and our "lawn" consists of whatever grows that's green. some of it is grass. I'm so glad to be free of suburbia! what do you guys do about them each year?
  13. an XJ hitch does not fit an MJ what gears are in the axles? or if you don't know, what engine/trans did the Jeep have? are they MJ axles or XJ?
  14. we do have a place for you to put them https://comancheclub.com/forum/25-craigslistebay-ie-not-your-stuff/
  15. build threads in long-ago member's signatures might be a good place to look.
  16. no, I'm not buying it. someone else can have it. says it has a title and no rust. https://offerup.com/item/detail/603176399/
  17. nice! I bow before your beanbag throwing skills
  18. and the robo voices are very lifelike these days.
  19. I got a call from myself once
  20. robo calls are sneaky. super sneaky. it's not always obvious what they want out of the call. best bet is to screen everything.
