I've only experienced sticky TBs in need of lube or broken springs. the idea of winding one just hasn't crossed my mind. but I'll file that away for later.

I need the confirmed kills. can't risk the burrowing buggers finding a way out.

a days harvest. built a trap from a cookie container with a funnel made of a 2-liter bottle and stuck the assembly above the hole (can't get it flush with the ground because there's a chunk of metal sticking up in the way). a good harvest so far. last time took days and days to get them all.

I'm not sure I remember an MT up for sale lately. usually it's "I just bought this!" meaning the rest of us missed out on it. you can replicate it easy enough on any MJs though. It's just a suspension package. it won't be original of course, but it'll be close.

XJs and MJs have different floor brackets but share sliders if they are the straight variety in the XJ (also came in curved and power).

should still be an option. heck, I'd pay a bit more for a manual.

Chrome fronts are fairly easy to find since XJs had the same thing. Chrome rears are far more challenging. any body shop worth a cup of spit can make that bumper look like new. perfectly straight dent-free. just as long as it isn't all rotted inside.

a factory black bench will not have headrests. BUT you can get a late model bench and have it recovered in black. chances are any bench you find will need recovering anyways. I recommend cloth.

is it a backseat where the seatbelts have a second point of disconnection? edit: oh crap, I didn't even notice there's no shoulder belt! Definitely a case of the longer you look, the worse it gets.

then I doubt you'll need a clamp that needs to cover both pipes. that band clamp should do a fine job of crushing the outer pipe on to the inner. I've got a couple on my truck.
