  1. it's white and has nothing left on it that can be unbolted except the bed and doors and couple other odds an ends. not really much to see. here's an old photo from soon after I took possession.

    Any Musicians?

if it was made of brass and had 3 (or 4 valves), there was a time I played it. Euphonium was my favorite. less puckering than the trumpet and less air volume needed than the tuba. mega kudos to anyone that can master the french horn. it may not seem all that different than the others, but I assure you that one is... trickier.
  3. I can love them and still disapprove of their idiotic actions
  4. it's been a minute or 2, hasn't it. met some of my favorite peoples on here.
  5. the guy doesn't have "NOS" in any of the other radios ads I skimmed through. weird.
  6. what an idiot!
  7. I miss car shows. going to make extra effort to hit as many as I can next year.
  8. never ever wait to grab a 44. they can magically disappear if you hesitate. all the sweating will be worth it.
  9. Is this because modern winches are larger than the old ones and so don't fit the space? or because modern Jeepers tend to by winches that are way stronger than the old ones necessitating a stronger structure?
  10. yes please!
  11. you're going to need to add the link to it too. the CC shrinks all the images before saving and so the words are illegible.
  12. so it's well seasoned
  13. went to get a load of dirt in the ol' 86 Metric ton. the dirt turned out to be quite wet and the truck went straight to the bumpstops front and rear. shockingly enough the dang thing still moved forward, so I headed out with my new MJ lowrider. fortunately it was an easy 2 miles to the subdivision (@ like 20mph).
  14. that's pretty epic right there.
  15. where you can find parts depends a lot on exactly which part you need. the auto store will have the majority of things you'll generally need. body parts are harder to come by, especially the MJ-specific ones out back
  16. welcome to the addiction. be sure to add your baby to the registry so you get a build sheet and birthday. how tight is your s-belt? how old is it? have you pulled it off and spun the individual bearings yet?
  17. still kicking myself for missing the last show. it just fell right on another trip. but now that I have a specific date in mind, we can plan around it to keep it open.
  18. looking forward to more. I love a good road trip!
  19. well that's a dang shame.
  20. search the CC for previous topics covering new carpet installation. there might even be one in the link in my sig (if there isn't, there should be)
  21. I can tell ya I'd for sure still have my Dakota R/T rc if I had no MJs.
  22. just don't get jumpy or fall for any seller tricks. there are others out there.
  23. you've summed it up quite well there. as the guy not writing the check, I say go for it. how hard can it be? what about dropping the body on a modern dodge frame?
  24. how are all your other projects doing?
