    it's not a direct bolt-in per se, but it is an easy mod to gain cupholders edit: that applies to the console. seats require a bit more because of the 96+ floor differences

    imo 4 grand is a lot to ask for a non-perfect XJ with that many miles. but rustfree Jeeps in the rust belt always pull a premium. pull up the carpet and verify that "rustfree" claim before buying. XJs are no different than MJs and I've see really clean Jeeps with more hole than floor.

    she didn't make it. there was just no coming back from the heart damage. but she was in good spirits on her last days! :) I'm up in michigan for the "funeral". we'll have a proper get together in the spring once everyone feels it's a bit safer.

    taking one up north tomorrow so I'll be down to only 4 loose ones again.

    jack up on rear tire, put the trans in neutral, and then rotate the tire around exactly twice while counting the number of times the driveshaft spins. 3 and a half will be 3.55, just over 4 will be 4.10, etc. the link in my signature has a thread all about rear driveshaft lengths. that will help you find out if your new one will need to be longer or shorter than is is currently. and if you're new to MJs, this thread is a gold mine
