Install was pretty straight forward, they are nice heavy rockers. I will get a few install pics that I have up. I definitely recommend them. -

Thanks! Aftermarket, but nothing crazy. The front is the basic aftermarket one from Goliath offroad, no hoop or winch slot, just the bumper, back is the Dirtbound bumper and hitch assembly, all that is on order now. -

Hey all, been a long time since I have been on here. I have always liked the MJ's and have recently purchased my third one after 12 years of selling my last one (looked almost like this one). Had a ton of the old XJ's through the years and currently have a built TJ ( Been building Jeeps for over 30 years). I recently drove by a gas station and saw this one sitting off to the side. Gave them a call and ended up buying it. It is a one owner truck. 89 Pioneer short bed, has 4.0, 5sp, 170k mi, bench seat, offroad package that included a factory Dana 44 rear! This is the first time I have ever seen a Dana 44 in a short bed from the factory. I do have all the original paper work from the Jeep to include the window sticker. Truck has almost no rust, just some in the passenger side door. I did have a set back when the truck either kicked out of gear (or I did not put it in gear after working on it, which I hate to admit I did!) and rolled through a pasture fence landing on a rock, denting in the passenger side rocker. Needs pulled out and fixed now. I purchased a set of canyon rims with new 30" M&S tires to run for now. Bought off CL for 300 bucks. Now I am deciding exactly how I want to build it. I am thinking of a smaller lift with either 31" or 33" tires. Going with newer XJ doors with pwr options, fixing the AC, regearing to 4:56's, new paint and pioneer decals, and going through the drivetrain. Eventually new/rebuilt 4.0, either a t3550 or G370 trans, and 242 tcase. Upgrading the front axles and braking system. Basically making it a new version of the MJ, no fender cutting or anything though ( I know 33's can be an issue with no cutting, but it can be done if set up right). I want to keep it fairly original looking, with just some enhancements. Anyhow, that is all for now, this is a long term project, so just looking at ideas and collecting parts for awhile.
