  1. it'll be there eventually. my garage in Michigan was barely a step beyond that (only had 110 and turned out the guys that wired it did it wrong so the power was temperamental at best) but it was the greatest thing ever when changing a power steering pump in the winter. you have done well.
  2. most 2.5s did have 4.10s but 2.5L+4spdmanual = 3.55 so not all did and ya gotta verify before buying.
  3. seems perfectly usable to me. if a project pops up, you now have a work space that is sheltered from the elements.
  4. circumstances are everything. I grew up in a small 2 story (plus basement) house and my sister had to walk through my room to get to hers. plus only one TV. there was no place for me to go to escape my family (only one bathroom so even that was temporary). fast forward a bunch of years and it was just me in that same house and I basically lived on part of the first floor. one bedroom, the bath, and livingroom/kitchen. the upstairs and the basement and the spare room were basically closed off (from the HVAC too) essentially making a tiny house and it was lovely with just me and my dog.

  9. I promise, you're not alone in liking them. color matters though, they look nice on a white truck for sure.
  10. in the member's projects subforum of course https://comancheclub.com/forum/8-member-projects-your-comanches/
  11. 5 more posts and the classifieds will open up to you.
  12. I can't imagine the little tires make it street legal. they certainly don't let it fit in the garage. maybe he's still building it? no driveshafts yet.
  13. all 4x4 MJ/XJ/ZJ/YJ/TJ/WJ have versions of the dana 30 (some high pinion, some low, some with leafs, some with the CAD, some with CV shafts). what's weaker in the pre-95 axles is the ujoints are of the smaller variety. but that can be fixed with the shafts from a later axle (XJ/TJ). if you want to buy one that already has the joints, look for 95-99 XJ. TJ/ZJ will also go in but are low pinion if that matters to your build.
  14. pretty sure you've got some 96+ XJ seats lying around to play with...
  15. what is it?
  16. your bumper isn't powder coated either. I've edited out the common wrong code explanations for ya. far as we know the codes themselves are correct, it's just the explanation that refers to a newer car. someday we'll be able to piece together all the accurate info.
  17. off the top of my head I think the driveshaft lengths are transmission dependent and not t-case dependent.
  18. takes more than that to stop a mountain goat
  19. that's just the triple wall I have on hand. it'll be single wall up to the ceiling and triple from there up to the tippy top. no reclaimer since this is not a primary heat source of the house, more of just a neat ambiance thing in the sunroom that takes the edge off in the wintertime.
  20. or maybe swap the whole column. you could gain a tilt column in the process too.
  21. my thought was fuel for long desert travels.

  25. how does anyone get into the back seat? or maybe that's not really a problem because no one would want to...
