  1. I can't imagine the little tires make it street legal. they certainly don't let it fit in the garage. maybe he's still building it? no driveshafts yet.
  2. all 4x4 MJ/XJ/ZJ/YJ/TJ/WJ have versions of the dana 30 (some high pinion, some low, some with leafs, some with the CAD, some with CV shafts). what's weaker in the pre-95 axles is the ujoints are of the smaller variety. but that can be fixed with the shafts from a later axle (XJ/TJ). if you want to buy one that already has the joints, look for 95-99 XJ. TJ/ZJ will also go in but are low pinion if that matters to your build.
  3. pretty sure you've got some 96+ XJ seats lying around to play with...
  4. what is it?
  5. your bumper isn't powder coated either. I've edited out the common wrong code explanations for ya. far as we know the codes themselves are correct, it's just the explanation that refers to a newer car. someday we'll be able to piece together all the accurate info.
  6. off the top of my head I think the driveshaft lengths are transmission dependent and not t-case dependent.
  7. takes more than that to stop a mountain goat
  8. that's just the triple wall I have on hand. it'll be single wall up to the ceiling and triple from there up to the tippy top. no reclaimer since this is not a primary heat source of the house, more of just a neat ambiance thing in the sunroom that takes the edge off in the wintertime.
  9. or maybe swap the whole column. you could gain a tilt column in the process too.
  10. my thought was fuel for long desert travels.

  14. how does anyone get into the back seat? or maybe that's not really a problem because no one would want to...
  15. this is just a water seal, right?
  16. took me 4 or 5 tries to get it right
  17. super powers
  18. north GA isn't south GA. we do occasionally get "winter". especially at night. tonight is in the 20s but the high is up to the 50s tomorrow. once that sun comes up, so does the temp.
  19. "need" is probably too strong a word, but we only have a heat pump at the house and it gets dang cold in that big room (an addition) fed by a single duct (seemingly added as an afterthought to the original hvac system) surrounded by single pane windows on 3 walls when the temps drop below freezing. especially if the power goes out during a freak ice storm. that night suuuuuuucked. My grandfather was still here and keeping him warm was a challenge. also wood stoves look/smell/sound cool when you get a fire going
  20. couldn't resist setting the stove in place (and slapping a 4ft pipe on it) so we could get a feel for how it's all coming together.
  21. it's like these things were built to leak on purpose.
