  3. I merged the 2 threads.
  4. it's old-school software so it takes a moment to get used to.
  5. that might be a reused code too. even if it is, it'll still have a trim level of some kind. I went through and edited out the common wrong ones for ya.
  6. nice! be sure to start a build thread and go into more detail. oh,and add her to the registry so you get a birthday and build sheet.
  7. beds. apparently I collect beds.
  8. after a very frustrating day at the junkyard, #11 is finally home.

I could easily do such a thing with a rusty MJ bed (and a good gate). the bits at the back are usually in way better shape than the bedsides. unfortunately the 2 beds I have that could get sacrificed for such a thing are wrecked in the back. just think, the gate could come down and form a sitting area. Rob did a thing like that (the sitting area, not the whole bed to sleep in) years ago and I've wanted one ever since.

  14. I see you took the stripes off too. nice to hear she's still gettin' it done.
  15. there's probably a couple threads like this. not sure how old they are or if everything is still available that was listed. 3x5 box steel is always available
  16. so when I first saw this I bid a buck so it would give me updates. just now I received an email from ebay stating: "Jeep Comanche Madalion is almost yours". as if all the other bidders backed out and now my dollar was winning or something

  18. as rusty as that is and as much work as it'll need, I'd probably buy a clean whole axle and swap that in (always buy brakes/bearings/etc for the year of the axle as some things changed slightly over the years). but that's just me. I dealt with rusty parts for most my life and avoid it whenever possible. if you want, you can retain the current axle behind your garage, but there's nothing on it that would indicate that it's the original axle (as compared to another CAD axle). there might be a link to a writeup on swapping in later shafts in the link in my signature. this is your CAD (central axle disconnect)
  19. I have the memory of a goldfish. what's your question?
  20. I don't think he's asking for the flares themselves, but rather the ground effects bits that mount between them and the rear bumper.
  21. very little of that is useful to you. wrong bolt patterns, wrong spline counts, etc.
  22. now's the time to stop. it never ever gets any easier.
  23. 87-90 clusters swap directly. take care when trying to remove yours. use the junkyard cluster as practice. if you pull the cluster out too far before unclipping the speedo cable, you can cause issues with the cable.
