  1. It has been 5+ years since an update wow!! A lot has changed, c clip eliminator for the 8.8, and 4.56 gears. Durabak in the bed. JCR rear bumper. Warn M8000 that I picked up used. Added an interior guage for my OBA. New RE shocks. Made a mount for a Hi-Lift in the bed.
  2. 5ish front soa rear. 33s
  3. Mobil Delvac or Chevron Delo whichever one has the best price at the time, both in the 15w-40 flavor. And of course a sexy Baldwin filter.
  4. http://www.strokedjeep.com/renix%20t-body.html he does good work
  5. You can change the t-case switch to a newer 2 wire switch if you want the light to work without the vacuum madness. I have the part numbers and some pics on page 2 of my build thread.
  6. The Rear retainer doesn't have any seals, it is RTV'd to the rear case half, then the extension is RTV'd to the retainer. The seal goes on the extension. Are you running it without the extension? Are you sure you aren't damaging it upon installation? Are they giving you p# 15047?
  7. I agree. I might even go 4k. The bottom line is its your money, and if you are comfortable paying what he wants then pull the trigger.
  8. The hardware kit would be used to replace the adjusters and springs on the e-brake, if it were mine I would put all new brakes on it. At least check you adjuster to make sure it is not froze up. The cables can be had cheaper at your local parts store. I used ZJ cables and I paid like 16 or 17 dollars apiece at advance auto
  9. The Google machine says- M8 x 1.25 x 25
  10. Have you thought about sending it off to get repaired? There are still a few shops around that provide this service.
  11. I believe you can you just need the mechanical speedo from a 231. IIRC the 207 and 231 speedo gear housings are quite different.
  12. Looks good! My wife thinks the manche is hers as well. What is it with significant others?
  13. That is the correct sensor for the gaugeNo, it's not. Autozone part #TU108 clearly states that it is a coolant temperature "switch." That's for use with idiot lights. The listing also has a "related parts" area that includes "Coolant temperature sensor"http://www.autozone.com/engine-management/temperature-switch?filterByKeyWord=TU108&fromString=search&isSearchByPartNumber=trueProblem is, if you click the link to the related "coolant temperature sensor," it shows one with a pigtail and it says it fits the thermostat housing. That's not the correct part for a Renix, that would be for an HO. In other words, Autozone (as usual) doesn't have a clue. This one, from Advance, looks to be the right one:http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/bwd-engine-coolant-temperature-sender-wt761/5973805-P If you cross TU108 and WT761 they are the exact same, just different manufacturers. They both cross to Napa 6053 which is the one I used and was previously mentioned by Dom. So yes TU108 will work
