normally I'd just send you over to my photo hosting account for all my Jeep pics, but they recently have announced they are closing up shop. I guess I should use this as an opportunity to finally do a build thread for the ol' girl. I mean, 22 years isn't too late to get on that, right?

I noticed that juuust after clicking submit. almost caught it
-
probably looks thinner when harshly illuminated by the sun (the lit half really stands out)
-
what leads you to that conclusion? what are the compression numbers?
-
that's my only rollbar. welded to the frame in front and bolted in the back
-
that's what solid extraction points and friends are for. I got the front drivers tire over a log and that snagged me in place. otherwise I'm not that stuck in that pic. I've been more stuck.

some dogs love mud. Carly was like "I'm just going to stay in here. I can hold it and pee later" ticks and mosquitos aside, Rockport was a lot of fun.

and back to square one. after several flame burnouts, I've found that the thermostat lever isn't actually connected to the air intake damper. so I stuck a stick in the back to hold it open and we'll carry on with this burn and later on I'll diagnose why the linkage isn't attached. sooooooo glad I did this first fire outside!

now the real challenge... finding a poster frame big enough. -
whoops, forgot to add the other photos this is the wedge on the back of the 'gate this is the wedge screwed into the studs
-
easiest is to just put screws through the handle holes. since I installed a handle, mine was put up with a more traditional approach for large artwork (essentially nesting wedges)

definitely worth fixing I had a similar issue when I dropped my baby off to get the AC fixed and came back to find my stereo and speakers all missing. the shop paid for all of it (especially since it turned out to be an employee that did it) but I was furious. (fun fact, if you're going to steal the key, come back at night, and then lock up the truck when you're done, it kinda narrows down the suspect pool) as to the problem at hand, I would only consider that if I knew it was the problem. you gotta track the power and see where it stops. and then do the same for the ground,. I'd hate to have you do all that work only to find out is was just a wasted ground.

that's not going to happen in any modern vehicle. people want too many things, and the government demands too many things to be able to simplify anything.

anyone heard anything on this yet? a friend of ours (used to work for chrysler and so gets the "new car every year" employee lease deal) and said he found out he has to wait a bit longer on his v8 gladiator he ordered. my pop was talking to him at the time, not me, so I found this out later and didn't get to ask any follow up questions.

they are all over ebay. there's a link to the digital version of the 89 shop manual (the first chrysler redo and best written of the renix years) in the link in my signature.
