1: holy crap that's a lot of typing 2: no doubt. although some people also fill it in with info that's not strictly a town/state 3: what I mean is, just because they put their city in their info (if you see the post, there's the city) doesn't necessarily mean that they want their name to be found when someone searches the map. plus there would be a TON of members added to the map that no longer participate in CC. doesn't our software already have a section for who's been online lately? or is that just for who is online right now?

those 2 are the most likely to have the answer. I've got no idea of how much work it would entail. 2 thoughts: very few people actually fill that info in. you may be getting into the territory of "needing consent".

look at the map (edit: which I say and then see there's only coffman listed there. there are a couple more. you might need to run a search though)

pinned near the top of the Pub is a thread containing the members map
  5. but it had problems with bending into a smile. both the 20 and the 44 are in the same basic class. better than a 35, less so than a 60.
  6. sounds like a good time to make a doctors appt.
  7. your body is moving way too much relative to the axle so that helps narrow down where to look. also, sawing the wheel back and forth rapidly from like 10-2 oclock works better at finding movement than the slow back and forth.
  8. did they strip it bare to do the repaint or did they mask things?
  9. I can see your track bar bracket moving
  10. car-part.com can help you with what ratios were available each year. search MJ rear axles if you want to weed out the XJ stuff
  11. the trims were mostly a sticker package and getting more standard stuff inside. this isn't 100%, for example there were interior fabrics that were Laredo specific.
  12. literally no way to know. the breakdown numbers simply don't exist.
  13. what axles?
  14. pretty much everything that there is to know is here on CC somewhere. but a lot of info was lost back in the AMC days so we still have gaps in the knowledge. what sort of info are you looking for?
  15. because those numbers are for the calendar years, not the model years the hemmings stuff has... errors.
  16. still could easily have been swapped out early on. maybe someone was trying to hyper mile? who knows. without any official info it's hard to say.
  17. found in a search:
  18. are you referring to the introduction of dana 35c? (C meaning "custom" not C-clips)
  19. "paperwork" can be the digital variety of course. far too few of us still have build sheets and window stickers. is the vin in the registry? I've got 0 info to support any 4.0/auto coming like that from the factory. fwiw I blew up and replaced my axle in '98 when the truck was all of 10 years old. dana 35s truly suck. I need a time machine...
  20. that is so much against the grain that I'm going to need to see some paperwork before I would add that to any list.
  21. looks like you had fun!
  22. 2.5 + auto = 4.56 the 4spd manual didn't have an overdrive, so they stuck with a 3.55 keep in mind that 86 was a bit weird and they hadn't fully settled on the standard ratios yet so other combos could exist.
  23. I recognize that rear flare
