If you're using electric fans, it's a simple procedure to wire in a switch to turn them off for water crossings. :thumbsup:

switch to the high altitude CPS (if you're not running it already). :thumbsup:

I intend to buy a new MJ tank, paint the exterior in a quality paint, then do that again in 20 years. :cheers:

my 2 cents, if you don't somehow separate the aftermarket cone intake from he engine bay, it's not really a cold air intake, but more of a hot air intake. :D

is the Map sensor a known good unit?

If you're referring to mine, it's still a closed system. I needed a new radiator and figured the cap would make it easier to fill. :D

go south or west. plenty of the ol' girls around with no rust issues. :D and then never let it touch salt (aka keep the ZJ).

try the riot shield combined with the throwing knife. :D

feel free to replace it anytime you'd like with a late model unit. there's no need to do the complete conversion. I have a radiator cap in my 88 yet still use the closed system.

why do you need to convert? something wrong with the system you have now?

Do you have the wire harness? or is it completely gutted? If you don't have a wire harness, disregard what I said about that TJ stuff. this changes things a bit.

beside the 6" of lift?

MJ shock mounts are bolt on. you've already got them on your truck. :D don't fear the welding. It's very simple and you can probably get it done at a muffler shop for cheap. :thumbsup: new perches can be found at the dealership for like $15. Gearing is more important.

they were just generic hood pins I found at the auto parts store. :dunno:

slight change of plans for the brochures. I'm going to take them with me on this trip and shoot them there. It'll be warmer in Fl and I can do them outside without freezing my butt off.

I like the pins. but I found that I needed to buy the longest I could find. and it's still a tight fit.

I put pins in mine. :D
