do you know what oil you had in before? Maybe your filter isn't retaining oil like it's supposed to?

there is a connector in the wire harness behind the driver rear tire. Corrosion inside caused me all sorts of headaches in my 88. :(

All years had the AX-5 (or AX-4 is 4speed) behind the 2.5L (except for a handful of 86s that might have gotten the T-5/4)

revolver shackles are gimmicy and can be problematic if they unload under heavy braking. stock MJ leafs in an SOA setup do NOT need and assistance in the flex category. They are awesome. :thumbsup:

no no, it's in there. I swear. :yes: just touch the screen to pop the hood and you'll find a 2.8 inside. I was going to photoshop in a 3.0, but I've got more photos of a 2.8 to work with. :D

also could be that the diverter is stuck. Had that happen too. used a screwdriver to push it free.

it means you might have a vacuum leak. the leak could be anywhere in the system. the vacuum canister is a common failure point and a good place to start. :thumbsup:

late model XJ 4door seals seal better than our old stuff. :thumbsup: If it were my truck, I think I'd go with Herculiner roll on stuff. If nothing else than to help protect the floor from the inevitable water leaks.

your bench doesn't adjust forward and backward? In this image you can see the bench stuff. note the front and rear floor brackets. Your bench should have one slider per side of the bench. Remove that, and adapt the new buckets to the floor brackets however you'd like. :thumbsup: Can't say what would be easiest wince you're going with custom seats. :dunno: Don't know if stock bucket sliders would have the right dimensions.

get yourself an inferred thermometer and check what the temps actually are. :thumbsup: Is the hose exiting the radiator hot?

are they fullsize axles? or early bronco axles?

you need to install everything associated with it. all the lines, all the parts (including a new heater box core), and the in-dash stuff to make it all work. Assuming you get the right stuff, it all bolts in. It's just a very elaborate bolt-in affair. A matching parts XJ with functional AC would be the ticket. Oh, and convert the dang thing to the new refrigerant while you're at it. :thumbsup:

the factory buckets mount directly on top of the floor brackets you already have. :thumbsup: The buckets just have a different slider system between the seat and the floor brackets than the bench.

what kind of sound are you looking for?
