  1. It might. There are a ton of variables in leafs and any random leaf stuck in any random leafpack may have different results. XJ leafpacks are flatter than ours and I've seen a lot of sagging ones, so I'd be picky about what I bought. It'll certainly be better than nothing.
  2. brake shields? are you talking about those flimsy pieces of sheetmetal that just collect mud and stones? I usually just remove them. :dunno:
  3. I swore I did one in that same color scheme, but cannot find it. :(
  4. I've never had a co2 tank run out during a weekend (I wanna say it's a 10 lb tank?). That includes numerous tire rotations (travel tires off, wheelin' tires on, then back again), airing up a couple times, other peoples' repairs, etc. You just have to keep in mind that the amount is still finite. I use a breaker bar for both starting and finishing the lugs (where I'd be wasting the most air) and use the impact to mostly make it all go much faster. I do have a cheapie 12volt air compressor as a backup for airing up the tires.
  5. I'm a big fan of adding in a main MJ leaf (with the eyes removed) as an AAL. :D hellcreek sells an AAL that does just this.
  6. I wish I had a photo of the expressions on the guys' faces when I calmly walked over with a floor jack, co2 tank and impact wrench to help out with the blown tire. :D
  7. I love having my Co2 tank on the trails. :D
  8. how will you be attaching them?
  9. HellCreek makes MJ packs of various types. Might want to ask him if he'll sell MJ mains separate if that's all you think you need. viewtopic.php?f=24&t=19998
  10. :waving:
  11. I saw a pic of the latest GC after a trip on the Rubicon trail. I'm sure that'll buff out. :teehee: I don't even mind the idea of an awd Jeep car (think Subaru WRX competition). But why oh why are they so dang fugly looking? :dunno:
  12. So there is no way on god's green earth that my total at the post office just happens to end in a 1 or a 6 (giving me 4 pennies back in my change) as often as it does without some devious plan behind it. I think the government is just trying to get rid of the dang things and using the post office as a means to an end.
  13. Can you snap a photo of your distributor?

    Holy crap!

    made in china?
  15. might be. it's also frequently associated with a small pic of a flower. Pushing it tells the camera that you're up close in personal with the subject and it will change the focus range.
  16. if your wires are corroded, cleaning up the connections of even swapping in new wires can make a huge difference too. Assuming the bushings aren't shot of course.
  17. but does it have a macro setting? it's not too close if you have that option.
  18. have you test fitted the housing on the truck?
  19. he's disassembled just about everything in an MJ. probably more than once. side question, does your camera have a "macro" setting?
  20. my 88 has something in the middle of its lower hose. turns out it's a tube with a temp sensor bung in it.
  21. the CPS will bolt right in. If you go with a Mopar internal slave, it should last just fine. aftermarket ones are kinda hit or miss with longevity.
  22. took me a minute to figure out what you were talking about, but i think you're referring to the little folder emblem. It means that in that forum, there is at least one sub-forum.
  23. Yep. I am taking the drivetrain and entire wiring harness. After that, the rolling chassis will go to the highest bidder. Rob L. I'll give ya 5 bucks a month... :rotf:
  24. photo would be nice. Any wires coming out of it?
