  2. Agree. All my other stuff has tilt and I never use it. It's just something else to go wrong and I don't need / want it especially as I'm the only driver of my MJ.
  3. Now it's time to create a signature and tell us what it is. https://comancheclub.com/topic/51707-cc-members-create-a-signature-to-describe-your-mj/
  4. It works! 3072 x 2304 to 800 x 600 @ 20.2 Mb
  5. Right you are. The valve cover threw me off. Have never seen a 4.0 aluminum valve cover like that with the front side exit vent tube.
  6. Coil spring spreaders or compressors - have been around forever. I used them back in the day when I was a dumbazz kid and didn't know any better.
  7. Cracked seat bottoms are usually caused by big butts.
  8. On the wife's JKU, she had Low Tire Pressure and Traction Control warnings. I purchased a new tire gauge as my original was over 25 years old, inflated all the tires including the spare to 35psi, and both warning lamps went out in the first mile of driving.
  9. ^^^ All true of course, but by stating these incontrovertible facts, we'll have to endure yet another "HO myth" post from Cruiser.
  10. Of course it is. But accidents do happen and quality steel wedges are a fix. When I installed my D44 from another MJ, then lifted it a bit, the pinion angle turned out to be a couple of degrees off. So I slapped some 2* steel wedges in to get the D44 snout back where it belonged. Wedges are fine for a small correction, but not for anything over 4* or more...
  11. Too bad it's a 2.5.....
  12. Even if you don't get the pinion angle spot on it's okay. You can always throw in a pair of wedges to fine tune the angle after it's welded.
  13. These are oversized for your 87 engine, ~22lbs @ 39psi. Plus they have a higher coil resistance, so they could be flowing even more. The Ford "yellow top" injectors have been used in a Renix with reported good results, but not this p/n that I've ever seen. Throw a set of pressure gauges on them and see what pressures you are actually running at w. and w/o vacuum.
  14. " PO installed Ford Mustang 4 port injectors, unsure of new or not." Ford Mustang 4-holers came in many flavors and sizes. What's the p/n stamped on them? Get the p/n and look up the injector's specs. It's a good possibility they are way oversized for your engine and are the reason why you're running rich and underpowered.
  15. Thanks for posting it up. It's looks good but the chrome needs touching up. I think back when these were manufactured the "silver/chrome" paint technology was lacking compared to todays, and even a new-in-the-box bezel would probably look aged. It just doesn't hold up like today's chrome accent colors do.
  16. I had several of the 96's with the German Ford Taunus V4 back in the day, but never a Sonnet. Wish I knew you were giving them away - I always wanted one. That little V4 was a tractor engine, and the rods and crank were beefier than most V8 engines. But I preferred the screaming 3-cylinder two-strokes most of all.
  17. Weld it up and install a 6" flex joint on the down pipe and you'll be good. Check your motor mounts too.
  18. Who's your little friend in the LR corner?
  19. Let's see it.
  20. 2.5 or 4.0? The pulleys have slightly different offsets.
  21. I have a bunch of them since I'm not using the stock coil anymore. All with the lock tab intact. I don't know where you can find them new..... You can have a couple since they were given to me by one of the fine gentlemen who posted above.
  22. That's what I'll probably do. I'm thinking of keeping the existing factory cooler and adding THIS ONE in series with it.
