  1. Fastenal has the idler puller bearings ($2.08/ea) and there's a slew of them on Fleabay too. Just do a search for 6203-2RS, common bearing. They're everywhere. :~) To be sure first use some 0000 steel wool on the idler pulley bearing face and the p/n should be visible. Just to eliminate any Jeep "inconsistancies".
  2. But Pete - there ain't no corrosion in Cali, right? :D
  3. I did this a couple of years ago: http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=8342&p=100730&hilit=electric+fan#p100730
  4. Hmm. I guess they don't. I thought they did through Greyhound Courier Express (GCX) in Canada.
  5. Prolly not. I didn't even look at the rear.
  6. Wade; Did you notice the tow hooks going through holes in the front air dam? Weren't the chrome bumpers options for all years Joe?
  7. Greyhound goes to Canada and they are pretty cheap.
  8. 1994 was the changeover year for the XJ/MJ seats; no more bolt-in. As posted above, it's a fabrication job.
  9. Yea, she was pi$$ed SW2. You have to use or abuse them to keep their interest. I try not to let it get over three or four days, otherwise they get raggy. Know what I mean Vern??
  10. The plugs are down near the bottom of the page.
  11. I get a lot of clips and oddball plugs I need HERE
  12. Agree. Glad UB back in Buffalo Bob.
  13. Looks nasty Jeff. Glad you made it back okay. How about you Bob?
  14. IMHO the fuel pump o-ring should always be replaced when changing the fuel pump. They are only around $4.00 at the dealer (p/ 5300 0575), same o-ring the XJ uses. Cheap insurance against a leak.
  15. 300.00 CAD = 282.899 USD. That's expensive! Maybe it's gold plated?

  17. No sheite, I live just up the road from you. Not only Vettes have alum rads, but many many late model everything do. I guess they are all dying in S. FL. No, I don't get the picture mate. IB done with you...
  18. AGREE 100%, Suh should have been at worst the #2 man. An awesome player, one of the few defensive players, no, the only defensive player now I think, who can completely control a game. If he played for Bama, the Horns, the Gators, or any other team with a good offense, he would have won it. But I'm very proud of Ingram, truly a humble guy who played his heart out all year, and it was obvious how much the award meant to him. Hopefully he won't turn pro anythime soon........
  19. Woo-Hoo, Mark Ingram wins the Heisman. :clapping: First 'Bama player to do it. Now there's only one minor obstacle in the way for a puuuurfect season, the Horns.
  20. Cool. Let's start another useless topic: what's the BEST motor oil, oil filter, and/or (gasp) Renix or HO engine? These threads are completely counter productive, and are not worth posting up on. Do your research for your own needs and budget, analyze, make your own mind up, then get what best suits you. I frankly do not give a dayem who here buys what tire, oil filter, and/or MJ/XJ engine; I get what I want after I learn enough to make an informed unbiased decision. :smart:

    xj help

I wouldn't do anything until I ran the VIN. If the mileage checks out, no wrecks, etc. it's a super buy.
  22. 1986 models only. They came w. the black or chrome stripes, or plain red. But all are no longer available.
  23. No, I have OME shocks front and rear. The rear Monroe shock 37029 travel lengths are 14.375" - 23.000". The OME N40L shock I use (actually a ZJ shock) is 15.6" - 25.8". You may come up a little short w. the Monroes depending on your lift height, but I think they will be okay.
  24. Yes it is nuts. That 12V fused feed also feeds one of the 12V ECU pins. Where it goes inside the ECU IDK but it drops the codes. LOL. Actuall the Porsche lights are found in the old VW hatchbacks and squarebacks too, and it's the same Bosch lamp only with a black shell.
  25. Yep, it ties into the ECU. Pulled the interior illumination fuse and I do lose the codes because it's tied into the cluster indicator circuits. My underdash lights are LED's; they can run for days w. no problems. And I like the 3-pole Bosch lights better.
