  1. You didn't look hard enough Jake.
  2. Yes, it would look très apropos on your pristine MJ. Because I feel magnanimous tonight, a special deal just for you is in order. This no longer available Reflexxion XJ/MJ cowl hood can be yours for a mere $2K, local pickup only. If shipping is required, I will build a custom crate with the hood braced and copiously bubble wrapped inside. An additional $500 should cover this. You may choose the freight company of your choice, and the merchandise is guaranteed to arrive in the same perfect condition as shipped, provided adequate insurance is arranged before shipping.
  3. You haven't been lookin very hard. http://www.jeep4x4center.com/knowledge-base/

Never had a problem with the Bucket. They change the interface occasionally and the upload procedure terminology changes with it, but it still works as it always has if you logon via the upper right corner, not the one in the middle of the screen.
  8. I have H4 Ecode Hellas with the relay harness. If the LED headlamps can put out a similar lumen rating and comparable light pattern using less than 25% the amp draw of sealed beams, I would be interested for sure. I know they are very popular on motorcycles. I'll have to look at the specs. If I got a set it would be the round ones for the JK first. The lights really suck on that.
  9. I think Alex might be a frustrated tank pilot. :clapping:
  10. This seller claims his truck has Truck Light LED headlamps. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=271269501303&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en#v4-42
  11. The drain plug on my 91 is a recessed 8mm plug. I have a combination metric plug tool that I used on Benz's that fits it fine. 8mm square stock will work too. Or you can also get a socket or grind down a 3/8" ratchet extension. If you get it out be sure to use anti-seize when re-installing. BTW, when I pulled mine, practically no junk came out.
  12. They carry the same part number for both sides. Mine are interchangeable. :hmm:
  13. The factory located them behind the passenger side kick panel.
  14. Locating the vacuum reservoir behind the front bumper, exposed to the weather and requiring extra vacuum hose was just a stupid place to put it IMO. Relocate it inside the engine compartment in a location of your choice and use a vacuum reservoir from any vehicle that will fit the location well. It cuts down the chances of vacuum leaks and makes troubleshooting easier. Here's how I did it - there are many other ways to do it. http://comancheclub.com/topic/16154-vacuum-reservoir-relocation/?hl=vacuum
  15. :agree: One thing you can count on for sure is that the front end with the OME 930 coils will never settle. Mine are still at the same level they were when I put them in over five years ago. The MT rear springs will settle down as much as 2", depending on weight. After a year they settled out at exactly the same level as the front, mostly due to the camper shell I carry around. Then, to restore the factory rake, I installed slightly longer Teraflex rear greasable shackles. So the old girl is setting just about right now, about 2"-2.5" over factory specs. That's plenty for me.
  16. Virginia, shoot me your PM and I can send wiring diagrams for the windows and mirrors (didn't do the locks). I made my own cross-body harnesses.
  17. Don't think it would help much. Know what I mean?
  18. I "sticky" what I think are useful posts in the DIY section to try to cut down on all the repeat questions that pop up all the time. It's far from complete, but folks should look for answers to often asked questions there first.
  19. PM sent. Alex, my source shows only one cover in stock. I'll let you know if they have another.
  20. Yes, they exist. It's a factory part and costs about $3 - $4. I can PM you the info where to get it if you want. Part #11 below:
  21. Are you looking for the factory fender antenna hole cover piece Mike?
  22. The MT springs lifted the rear almost 3" from what it was before I installed them. My original springs were shot. It took about a year for the MT springs to settle down an inch.
  23. To measure your lift: http://comancheclub.com/topic/11098-how-to-measure-ride-hight/ You can lower the rear about an inch by installing XJ shackles. And the brand new MT leaf springs should settle down about an inch in time. Mine did.
  24. Nice Ben. Love the tin ceiling tiles. Are you going to reuse the original outside hinges?
