  1. Where it says 2000 service manual won't work ? I may be missing something.... Nope, it works. I"m missing something. Alexia's link works too. The download file sizes are different though......

Well, I do hate the Renix system. It's a poorly engineered, unreliable, and maintenance intensive system AMC was forced into trying to save their company since everyone else was going FI. Deep down you know it. I'd rather have carbs and with HEI ignition. But that's just me. You do a hell of a job keeping these guys' Renix trucks going. And that's all good since after all, since the Renix MJs far outnumber the Chrysler models.

It is impressive. Wish I had had the opportunity to order ten MJs. I never had the chance to order even one new one. Jeesh, lighten up man.......
  4. https://xjjeeps.com/ Edit: Oops - nothing that new on the site. I've never seen an FSM online for the newer XJs....
  5. I answered it your elsewhere post.
  6. Don't know the size but the p/n is J3189013 and they were used on XJ/MJ fan shrouds up to 1996.

    Wow! So impressive...........
  8. Bad (rusty) ground or open coil.
  9. Your floorboard is wet because the cowl plenum drain tube is clogged up and the water has no place to drain out. When you are in the cowl fixing the windshield washer tubing, locate and clean out the drain tube.
  10. Too many asshats on Farcebook, ignore the fools.
  11. Where? Every non-self-hosting forum in existence has taken massive hits from the PB ban and is looking for the same answer for their members.
  12. Sounds like the wire you cut is the lead from the multifunction switch stalk on the steering column, like in the below pic. So your choices are to replace the stalk (PITA), or to find a donor vehicle with cruise you can cut and splice a new wire from. All 80's-early 90's GM vehicles with cruise control used the same columns/stalks as your MJ, so there's a huge donor pool of GM cars available at the JY to cut/splice a wire from.
  13. 84-01 MJ/XJ hood hinges will all interchange.
  14. You either use someone in the cloud as a host, or setup your own host. That's how it works. I think PB is knocking off subscribers who use ad-blocking software first. How many of you who are still able to use PB hosting are using ad-blockers?
  15. The lower coil wrap should fit in the lower bucket indented slot like the below pic on both sides (180* out), and the clips (not shown in the pic I stole) should be tight and secure. Also make sure the upper spring isolators are in good shape.
  16. Why not just splice the cruise wire you cut off back on? Do you still have it?
  17. It would work on a Renix using by an external regulator and HO alternator bracketry. I've seen several writeups on NAXJA on how to wire these Nippon Denso alts up on a Renix.
  18. Had that happen with my 01 - turned out to be the coil pack. Didn't throw a code either.....
  19. Yes, if all the parts are still there. usually they are long gone............
  20. The only seal in an 89 D35 non c-clip axle tube is p/n 53000477.
  21. You could have routed your pipes so you could still fit the spare underneath......
  22. It's call the PDC (Power Distribution Center) and what you pulled was the A/C relay. The blower resistor is in the passenger side duct under the dash behind a small plastic cover.
  23. You kept the best one.
  24. Which p/n Bosch injectors did you install?
  25. Yes, you are right. BUT it is more fun when you discover the cable has broken and your spare fell off somewhere down the road and it is just not there. For sure. :shake:
