  1. That's the exact same shift indicator I have for my AW4.
  2. Looks like an 8K RPM tach to me.
  3. Very perceptive Dirty. I agree.
  4. Which 16-pin connector are you looking at? The one near the cab or at the rear? The other end of the harness
  5. That's from the 91 FSM. It's correct for the 91. The colors are in the second column.
  6. Yes. Below is the 91 rear body connector w. pin functions. You will have to identify the Renix connector wires by function, not just color.
  7. You need to swap in the 91 sender for the 91 gauge. There are only three wires on the 91 sender connector; 12V (Grn wire), GND (Blk wire), and the gauge output wire (Blue wire). Would be difficult to get them wrong. The pumps are the same so use either.
  8. Yes, you will be fine on the rear lights, but the output from the 88 fuel sender will be of opposite polarity for the 91 fuel gauge, so the gauge will indicate backwards. Do you have the 91 sender you can swap in?
  9. Glad I didn't disappoint. :rotfl2:
  10. No, dissing on Renix MJs is a common affliction among the envious souls who are forced to endure with the Chryco injected models. I'm a bit hung over this morning, so I'll not dignify this ridiculous post now with a rebuttal. But I'll get back to it this evening..... :rotfl2:
  11. ^^ This. If no joy, pull the pump out of the reservoir and clean the pump's inlet filter. If still no joy, it's pump replacement time. P/n 55154613 http://www.ebay.com/itm/WASHER-PUMP-MOPAR-55154613-/192247999012?epid=83228032&hash=item2cc2dfaa24:g:If0AAOSwkttZaM~7&vxp=mtr
  12. So Don secretly LOVES the RENIX system, that's what I have always thought. :rotfl2: You nailed it Mike. With skewed logic like that, it must be true.... :hmm:
  13. I HEARD differently... in fact those with Highly Overrated jeeps usually diss on themselves & always keep kicking themselves for not getting a Renix. Obviously you only converse with other Renix owners. And according to your signature, you are one of the lucky ones who owns a 91 HO. Did you transplant a Renix system in?
  14. It looks a lot better w/o it Bo - would have done the same thing. Certain JK models have a similar huge decal on the hood to "minimize hood glare". I've never been bothered by hood glare, have you? :shake: And agree with everything you said. There's not a day that goes by that I don't curse out my junk including the lawn mower and power tools. And I'll continue to do it and don't give a damn whom it "offends". BTW, I hear dissing on your MJ is quite common with Renix owners. :rotfl2:
  15. That's called free arch; it's 9.5" + or - .12" on the 3+2 MT spring. Every leaf spring has this spec, and it's critical for the flex vs. load characteristics of the spring. Manufacturing a spring with an incorrect free arch is not common if that's what you are saying. Did your dealer tell you how he corrected the free arch?
  16. Who's the supplier? Local? Did he have a blueprint like the below to build from? This is for the 3 + 2 MJ metric ton leaf spring.
  17.
  18. To me, nothing looks better than the stock flares. But when you run big meats and have to cut, they're not going to work. The Notch flares below on the Chief look pretty good, but are pricey. The flares with the fasteners and holes showing I don't like at all; one example is the Bushwackers. They look like an afterthought add-on to me.
  19. NEVER! The truth must be told, even though it hurts Renix-guy.
  20. MJ's had a ~2" rake new from the factory; I wouldn't be concerned. Look up the tire diameter specs of your new tire size compared to the old tires and see what the height difference is to be sure.
  21. X2. Also, the front spring hanger brackets are different for the LWB and SWB models, and neither is available anymore new. The p/n's are 55006826 (LWB) and 55009170 (SWB).
  22. First of all, where did you buy your new MJ springs? What is the p/n? Compare your measurements with the below. These are a good substitute for stock MJ shackles and work fine: Regulation Comanche MJ Leaf Spring Measurements: A = 26" B = 31" D = 1.5"
  23. Yes, one of those two under-dash relays is the horn relay on a 91. To test swap the two relays and see if the horn works. If it still doesn't, it's most likely an open ground circuit in the column.
