    Tires. :(

  2. When mine cracked back in August I think, I ordered one off Ebay for $27 or so. So far so good.
  3. The 91-92 COmanche pump is the same as the 91-??? Cherokee pump. The sender unit assembly is different, but the pump is the same. I know the 86 through 90 (Renix) is the same, and see no reason for that being changed in 91.
  4. The skinny to fat flares are only on 95 and 96 Cherokees. 84 through 94 are the same as the MJ front ones. 97+ I don't know.
  5. The chart lists production years, not model years. So the 85 ones would have been sold as an 86.
  6. Don't know, but I believe the MJ front calipers are 7mm, which is not a common size. Most (if not all) sets jump from 6 to 8. It is also somewhere between 1/4 and 5/16.
  7. Hey, another Cleveland Indians fan! Welcome to the site.
  8. I have heard good things about Rubicon Express, I myself like Motion Offroad. I have also heard to stay far far away from Rusty's.
  9. Everything on the front of Comanches interchanges with Cherokees. So any Cherokee front axle (but you do need to check the gear ratio). I believe the only front axle used was a Dana 30. Other vehicles may possibly interchange, like YJ or Grand Cherokee?
  10. Summit carries 15x8 Soft 8s with 4" backspacing for $39.95.
  11. With and angle grinder, welder and a pair of new perches the XJ can be made to work quite easily. I imagine the grand can too, but there'd be more stuff to cut off. A popular upgrade is a Ford 8.8 out of a 95 (?) and newer Explorer. Stronger axle, same bolt pattern, disc brakes. it is a bit narrower, though, so you might want to run wheel spacers. If I remember any of this information wrong I'm sure someone will correct me.
  12. If you are going to run 10" wide rims, you probably want 4.5" to 5" backspacing. 8" rims with 4" backspacing.
  13. Most spring packs locate the axle in the middle. Comanches are more of a 40/60 split with the axle closer to the front. So even if you find a spring pack with the correct length, width, arch and spring rate, the center pin might be in the wrong place. A temporary measure would be to use a Chevy drop shackle. a 2" Chevy drop shackle will lift a Comanche about 1.5".
  14. And you REALLY do not want to be leaking fuel just above the exhaust manifold.
  15. Heck, you just barely north of me. (Northern Tuscarawas County). If you ever need help wrenching let me know.
  16. Just tested the locker in the woods at work, and it works as designed! Didn't need to get towed out this time
  17. My truck is lifted, but also my dd. I have Monroes meant for a compact car up front, Gabriel out back. Cheapest shocks I could find in the length I needed. It rides like a car and handles better than stock ride height with stock shocks, but that may be due to the old suspension being worn out. It's a compact truck without any payload capacity to speak off, so it shouldn't ride like a truck. My Cherokee with Skyjackers rides like a 3/4 ton truck, though. This summer may be the first time in my life I'm going to junk a set of almost brand new shocks.
  18. Gasoline does not conduct and cannot short out wires. If it did your fuel pump and fuel level sending unit would not work because all the bare connectors, not to mention the electronics themselves are completely immersed in gasoline.
  19. Yes I do. Just last month I found out my buddy took a cell phone video of that. He keeps forgetting to burn it to CD as the file is too large for email.
  20. 1 - He is nuts. Actually, all those time comp guys are. 2 - I wonder how many axle shaft and U joints he goes through in a month.
  21. Installed new axle hub assembly.
  22. Same here. Less than 90 minute drive for me. Be forewarned, though, that's it's only for JeepSkool.com members. But membership is free.
  23. After spending an unexpected $180 I will be missing this one.
