    front skid

I think they look better with them on then off and they are great protection if your in the snow belt and like plowing though the deep snow as it keeps the snow and water even from getting at your hard to reach and over priced Alternator which is why I keep mine on, it pushes the snow down rather then letting it build up against the axle and up into the engine bay but we haven't had that deep a snow up here in decades..
  2. That sucks dude and one of the main reasons I installed my Viper two way alarm with immobilizer built in to stop a would be thief and alert me if anything is going on so I can be right there in a few seconds... I would be thinking along these lines myself, perfect time if any to do a 97+ conversion as most of the front metal can be replaced and once all the bad is cleaned out and blasted you have a blank canvas...
  3. I've got a 99 intake sitting in my garage that I'll sell you for cheap. I'm not sure what the going rate is but I can send you pictures. I live in Ontario Canada so I doubt it would be a cost effective option. Thanks for the offer though I have a few of these Newer intakes in my Shop... I am in Stoney Creek ON
  4. Yessss... I would Nope not for a daily driver replacement to the Comanche..
  5. I will buy the Gladiator Concept version but doubt I would touch any others but that Article is saying by 2020 so they are just blowing smoke up the arses again... As always I will believe it when I see it on the showroom Floor So until then I will continue to build my own version of the Gladiator concept...
  6. Just replace it with a Rock auto or ebay part and not the expensive dealer part which is likely just from the local autoparts store and not actually a MOPAR part... The factory Maifolds and even aftermarket headers crack (the factory manifold is not a header allthough its close) because of running lean at WOT so once replaced with an OE replacement or an actual header make sure you upgrade the injectors and the cracking issue will be no more...
  7. The KJ doesn't use a VSS like the XJ/MJ so the tailhouing is different...
  8. As stated yes this setup can be used as a 4x4 swap... And I am sure 94 was the first for External Slave and the title says this was a 5 speed swap in the ZJ...
  9. Thanks With my Estimated Crank HP and the fact I am Supercharging my Stroker I went 2.5" otherwise I probably would have stayed 2.25" I like the Tips here for exhaust sizing as Its about the only thing I have seen that's practical.. youtube.com/watch?v=jSEGQulQkz0
  10. I did a Custom 2.5" Magnaflow SS Hot Rod Kit and built my entire exhaust and I used a Magnaflow High Flow SS Cat with a SS Magnaflow XL muffler...
  11. My top was a few Years ago before my new axles and Stroker Engine heading to NJ I hit 170KPH with 31's and 3:73 gears and smooth as can be oh and My speedometers are always calibrated to within 2KPH (GPS-ed as well) so that somewhere around 106MPH I think... I haven't tried with the New Engine on 35's yet...
  12. I like that Header... I just might Have to make one similar....
  13. As Soon as I order in my Custom Torque converter as I need a lower Stall converter...
  14. I have yet to Dyno my 4.7L Stroker but the good old Butt Dyno says Wow (I can Burn up 35's with ease) I am hoping to get it on the dyno before my Supercharger goes on now that I have just over 10K KM on my Stroker and then again after...
  15. I will believe it when I see them at the dealership as all these website do the same BS each year and spew out info that has been recycled for someone else and slap a new date on it... When they do make it and it is based on the gladiator concept I will be in line to buy one as well especially since I am starting my part collection to build the gladiator concept myself out of a few JK's and will gladly stop if they build it and my MJ will be chopped up for parts
  16. If they build something very close to the Gladiator concept I would buy one and my MJ would be sold off or become a full time wheeler. However I will believe it when I see it since they have been promising to make this since 2005

    They do exist!

I have thrown out 3-4 sets of these over the years of parting out Jeeps. Who knew they would be so wanted...
  18. Nov 2005 For me...
  19. Been there for quite awhile now... Interesting to see how many MJ's are around and where..
  20. Interesting concept except Id aim for a barter system as everyone has skills of some kind that another might not... Example might be: Need help fixing my Jeep, shop said it would be $1000.00 I am a "insert trade or skill offered" Joe Somebody says I need "that type of work done in my house/shop/cottage etc." I think that would be a sweet setup if not already out there where your just trading labour...
  21. Funny thing is I have had both these plans so one of these is what I would be doing but since I already have the WK SRT8 rear axle and Brembo brakes (still working on the front brakes) in my current MJ I would do it again for the supercharged 3.6 if I go that way... Ahh to dream now where is that Lotto ticket...

  23. This is kinda Cool..
  24. I used Royal Purple Break in oil for my 4.7L stroker engine
  25. I will edit that later if it's possible. I rarely play games on my PC so I was looking for info on consoles.
