Yeah, that's the first thing I noticed on his description, "restored". I'm sure it would bring big money at Barrett Jackson for the mix of MJ/XJ tan and light tan interior parts, like the light tan window crank LOL! Don't get me wrong, the truck looks super clean, but as you note, people throw around the term "restored" a little loosely.

Looks like a bull head. W/the horseshoes on the gate etc. seems like it's on a farm. Sold for $4,550 w/NO a/c and a mismatched interior. Can anybody confirm by the pics if the engine is a '98?

nah, it only appeals to me because of the low miles. mine needs very little work and as a fully loaded laredo, there's no way i'd give it up. i'll be able to find an affordable donor motor when mine dies, but it runs pretty damn good so i'm probably good for awhile. just the thrill of the hunt i guess..........

And, as an example, if you take your two purchases totalling $2650 and Pat's 28(?) purchases with his avg. price being somewhere in the neighborhood of, oh, $39.73 per truck, your combined purchase price average is a whopping $125 per truck. Now, for sake of argument, let's say that Pat truly is the exception and there are 10 of you cheeseheads with identical numbers to yours, i.e. they paid "somewhat" of a realistic price for one. Well stop the presses, 'cause that brings the AVG Wisco MJ purchase price up to a "not affordable for the common man" price of $359. And six cents. To be exact. But that's not the case, because Pat is NOT the only getting these deals. 89Eliminator and others have too, so I'd say the Wisco avg is $300 or less. :ack: :rotfl2:

$100 these days will get you at least 250GB of external hard drive. i say unless you are posting pics ALL the time, just use the free version of photobucket and add one extra step to the process when you want to post pics to a forum, i.e. just load to photobucket from your hard drive. next time you need to load a pic just delete the last one you did. but then again, you really do need a huge amount of pics to take up the free space they give you. from what i have on there so far, it looks like it could hold 800-1000 avg size pics. JMO

i have been planning on doing the same amount of lift in the rear. i called skyjacker direct and the sales rep claims the shackles in their MJ 2" lift pkg is a true 2" and is specific for the MJ, i.e. is not a shared shackle from the XJ kit. i have been meaning to call back and get the measurement from eye to eye. CW and others informed me an MJ shackle is 5.5" eye to eye, so the skyjacker would need to be @9". they don't sell direct, so you have to get a price from a local dealer. please keep this updated, particularly what the actual lift is that you end up getting.
