I know its not a comanche but I think itll fit well here on the forum. Just picked up this 86 Cheif. 2.5 5 speed. Drove down with my buddy and roadtripped it 700 miles home and into a snowstorm. Not one single hiccup and got 22 mpg! This is gonna be a completely stock build, its already perfect in the looks department.

What's the difference between this and the other chief decals? My friend's 84 chief looks exactly the same

84-85 (some early 86) had upper and lower case font 'Cherokee Chief'.

Thanks guys. I'm excited to get this thing back to near perfect mechanical condition.  Going to be my daily when the comanche is down for upgrades. Ill get some better pictures once this snow goes away and I can get it all cleaned up.
