One of my favorite pictures I’ve taken. I flew over and landed at the first airport in the world. Wright Brothers first powered flight.

I usually use flightradar which sounds like the same thing.

For the most part the AF fancy birds don't show up. Only training jets and sometimes cargo.

I get a lot of Chinooks, Apache and Blackhawks too.

Here's a Dragon Lady over my house.

Yes. They both use adsb info.

Lots of military won't show up.

Fun fact U-2s have temporary wing "landing gear" they fall off on takeoff so when it lands they must balance the plane until it comes to a stop. Limited visibility also makes it require a chase vehicle. Which makes the fact they did carrier landings during the cold war even more impressive.

Not really a fly-by, but here's a photo I took that I always thought looked kind of cool.  Taken in Kuwait and about to board this C-17 for our flight into Kandahar Afghanistan.

This went right over my house this afternoon, lowest I’ve ever seen, it looked huge. Check out what was on the back.

We used to rough out rotor hubs for those.

Also learned at an air show that pilots don’t care that you made the parts for their flying machine but the crew chiefs were always very interested in that and would show you around their machine.

” I own this machine, I just let them fly it.” Learned a lot that day.
