DirtyComanche Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Towing an airplane: Another shot from inside, somewhere in the Yukon:
DirtyComanche Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Ski job I was on years ago: Flying over the Canol Trail (Canol pipeline) in the NWT: Like I said, I don't normally take pictures, so I have very few.

AeroNautical Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 One of my favorite pictures I’ve taken. I flew over and landed at the first airport in the world. Wright Brothers first powered flight.
MiNi Beast Posted March 17, 2022 Author Posted March 17, 2022 Nice shot guys. I seen a helicopter hauling a city bus yesterday but I didn't have my camera. That was a rather weird sight.

camjeep3 Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 Growing up my dad flew an archer2 and then archer 3. Lots of fun memories!
Parei_doll_ia Posted March 18, 2022 Posted March 18, 2022 These are all from 2015 F-18 taking off in Guam from the CALA Picture I took in S Korea with the work light lighting up the fog behind the jet while waiting for avi to fix the jet Wake Island from the window of the C130 I was in
MiNi Beast Posted March 18, 2022 Author Posted March 18, 2022 Love the shot with the jet in the fog. So mystical.
MiNi Beast Posted March 18, 2022 Author Posted March 18, 2022 Sweet shot of them old-fashioned ones. they seem to line up.
m2bandit Posted March 18, 2022 Posted March 18, 2022 F35 spec from our stay at Hill AFB. I might be able to dig up a DSLR shot of them.

For the most part the AF fancy birds don't show up. Only training jets and sometimes cargo. I get a lot of Chinooks, Apache and Blackhawks too. Here's a Dragon Lady over my house.

m2bandit Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 Fun fact U-2s have temporary wing "landing gear" they fall off on takeoff so when it lands they must balance the plane until it comes to a stop. Limited visibility also makes it require a chase vehicle. Which makes the fact they did carrier landings during the cold war even more impressive.
jeff351 Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 Not really a fly-by, but here's a photo I took that I always thought looked kind of cool. Taken in Kuwait and about to board this C-17 for our flight into Kandahar Afghanistan.
fiatslug87 Posted April 8, 2022 Posted April 8, 2022 This went right over my house this afternoon, lowest I’ve ever seen, it looked huge. Check out what was on the back.

Check out what was on the back. We used to rough out rotor hubs for those. Also learned at an air show that pilots don’t care that you made the parts for their flying machine but the crew chiefs were always very interested in that and would show you around their machine. ” I own this machine, I just let them fly it.” Learned a lot that day.
fiatslug87 Posted April 8, 2022 Posted April 8, 2022 Fly boys I think the one above was Army, this one also went over the same day, not as decked out, but the guys still sitting on the back.
