Dzimm Posted November 20, 2020 Posted November 20, 2020 That's just crazy to me. What's it cost to maintain a dealer license? can't imagine it's cheap. Pretty dang cool tho!
gogmorgo Posted November 20, 2020 Posted November 20, 2020 https://blog.suretysolutions.com/suretynews/how-to-get-a-car-dealers-license-in-nc The fees for the license are pretty negligeable if you’re doing business. Looks like you could be all in for under $500/year, including sourcing the dealer bond.
WahooSteeler Posted November 20, 2020 Posted November 20, 2020 I remember seeing them on American Pickers, pretty cool. Bound to have some of the last NOS inventory on AMC stuff. American Pickers bought a Nash-Healey convertible from the guy IIRC.
89 MJ Posted November 20, 2020 Posted November 20, 2020 If someone could find me a dealer like this that has a bunch of brand new MJs, that would be great. LOL
eaglescout526 Posted November 20, 2020 Posted November 20, 2020 There was an XJ on their lot when I watched the American pickers episode.

From what I remember it was pretty sad seeing the old owner sitting there in the ruins "filling out paperwork", he seemed out of it.
rtferguson_39 Posted November 20, 2020 Posted November 20, 2020 They are indeed still selling inventory. I called today as a matter of fact. Spoke with Robby I believe. Inquired directly as to MJ and XJ parts. Was told they have one MJ and three XJ's on site. No NOS parts remaining.
eaglescout526 Posted November 20, 2020 Posted November 20, 2020 @Pete M sounds like you need to go snag the ultimate MJ NOS.

Probably a real family struggle trying to get him to let go of all of it.
tugboat95 Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 Wow, only a hour from me and I've driven past it a few times and never knew. Might grab Dad and have a field trip after this Covid dies down.89 ComancheEliminator2wd4.0L5 speed PukeGoatFactory Original
