I have found myself looking for more MJs lately. This is not good. I should not be doing this. I don't need more. But I like them. They are fun. I don't know if I can go months without driving mine. What am I going to do? AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH

I'm not crazy, you're crazy!

I'm not crazy, right?

I've been fighting this battle internally for a few months now. I almost bought a 92 Eliminator as a winter beater, but the frame had broken and was "repaired" terribly. They just welded steel over the rust. It was rusty all the way under the cab on the frame. It was bad news bears. If it hadn't been "repaired", I'd have probably bought it and fixed the frame and added frame stiffeners to drive in the winter.

Heh. A couple summers back I picked up a second MJ to run around with while I built my other one. Now I’ve got two project MJs, and really haven’t made much progress on number 1. But hey, no regrets.

You know you want another one.

All the cool kids are doing it.

I know! I’ll probably get one in the spring.

good. now just have patience centered around your rig. wait now continue to work on it and get it how you want it. then take it for a drive put together  that feeling in that moment would be well worth the wait. you will rob yourself of that feeling and experience if you buy another beater rig too feed your impatience. :dunno:

That’s probably what is going to happen though. I just wish I had one to use in the winter so I’m not stuck driving my parents vehicles.

rusty trucks need lovin' too!  just cut out the bad steel and weld in the good steel.  easy-peasy :D   then get an 242 and go nuts all winter.

Once you buy it, it doesn't cost you anything to store it

That’s a good point there.

Well, I found this one relatively close to me (about 90 minutes away), but I really can't tell if its a good deal or not. This truck is a Metric Ton, which I want, and it isn't rusty (according to the ad, I'm sure the floors say otherwise). I know I got a good deal on my blue MJ at $1,500, but does anyone know if this seems like a good deal? It does seem like a lot for a running truck, but if it isn't rusty it may be close to being worth it.
