Whaaaa? Your MJ isn’t that low of miles is it?

No, it’s not. I changed the odometer to show the miles on the transmission once I got it rebuilt when I swapped to my full cluster since it would have needed to be changed anyways.

Isn’t illegal in most states to reset and or redo without the correct paperwork how’s the title status?

In WI, odometer readings are exempt from the title status once the vehicle is 10 years old. As long as I disclose that the mileage shown on the odometer is not actual mileage, I will be fine. I also never plan on selling this truck.

It all started with pulling the rear window in order to fix the small leak when it rains really hard.  Naturally, it spiraled into changing to the ACC carpet from the POS ACC vinyl floor. I still have to get the rear window sealed up and install the b-pillar panels, but don’t worry, I’m supposed to take the truck camping tomorrow morning.

The carpet fits soooooo much better than the vinyl did. And I just cleaned the vinyl 11 days before removing it and this is how filthy it came out. The vinyl is definitely not worth the money.

Now I decided to pull the headliner and redo that. Some of you Eagle eyed people will notice that I had an OEM slider and I’m swapping to a CRL slider. This is for a couple of reasons.
1. The center isn’t plexiglass.

2. It latches.
3. Larger window opening for more airflow.
4. It has a superior design to help keep water out.

New headliner installed. I did a grey foam backed fabric, much like the original, then covered that with the fabric shown. I wanted something brighter and mildly patriotic without doing an American flag. Plus, it’s a little weird.

Made it to Kenosha. There was a cruise in tonight that we went to. I drove the Comanche about 200 miles and got 20 mpg. Not bad for 4.10s at 70-75 mph.

I have seen pictures of a tan Sportruck and a red Pioneer, but haven’t seen any others yet. I’ll post up some pics though.

Love the headliner! Colors are perfect. Looks like it could have been an AMC design.

Thank you! The pattern itself is actually very similar in design to the pattern on my Eagle seats, now that you point out that it looks like an AMC design.

Fantastic pictures, thank you! It was great meeting you and your family too! Hopefully we can get together again at some point with both Comanches.

Well, I am down in Arizona for college now. My Comanche and Eagle are both tucked away in my container. The Eagle may come out to put the latest addition to the collection in there, but the Comanche will stay there until I am back in May.  I'm not going to lie, I do miss driving it. If anyone has an MJ near Tucson that they want to sell, I may be interested.

I have no clue why the photo rotated the way it did, but you get the drift.IMG_9233.jpg.c01d92f5a0dc730070542b145e6d4f07.jpg
