When are the decals coming?

That is a great question, but I'm waiting patiently. The tint guy is going to get it done in January, with life hitting him hard recently and Chrysler delivering all the new 2020 Dodge and what's left of the 2019 models, he has been busy. Rest assured 89 MJ, you will be the first to know about the decals!

Rear bumper bracket was replaced on the Sunday. Never got those broken bolts out sadly.

But nothing beats spending the last day of the year like hanging out and workin on Jeeps.

Alrighty @Minuit  Here’s for not installing it for a year and your amazing work fixing what I broke lol.

RX-141 installed.

Now I just need to get one of those dongles that locks on to an empty station and does Bluetooth and aux/usb.

I wish I could upload a video of its performance but can’t without doing YouTube. So I tested out everything and it works perfectly. Even the cassette. Yes being 23 and having cassettes. I can blame my girlfriend for her obsession with that. I prefer vinyl.

Well the door panels are finally back on and I replaced the rear trans mount. Wow did that mount go through hell and back. Well, I am not at the end of the road as there is always something to do but updates might become sparing this year. We will see what 1920 I mean 2020 has in store.

I have a question. The red wire that is powering your under hood light, where does it come from? Can you see the connector it comes out of? I ask because I have a similar wire in the same location and looks close to this, that I am trying to figure out where it goes.

Also, what did you use to hold the "Fuse Cover" down with? It looks like regular bolts? I've been searching for the actual tabs that hold it down but what you have looks way more sturdy.

Thanks!

1). That wire is apart of the factory harness. Check around the relay center and ICM or blower motor areas and see if its there. Should look like a GM single spade plug just like what is on the starter relay or cargo light. Check to see if it has 12V power and if it does, that's the underhoodlight.

2). Yes. They are regular bolts. The clips broke on me and are almost irreplaceable. So I used a couple bolts and 4 nuts, two to hold the bolts in place and two to hold down the cover. It is a much better idea than the clips but to each is his own.

That's it, that's the wire I have, I just didn't know what it went to. The truck doesn't have an under hood light now and I couldn't figure out what that wire was for.

I like the bolt method, looks better IMHO.
