HOrnbrod Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 New members to the forum, and some longtime members too, post technical questions in this forum but do not provide specifics of the MJ they are referring to. Like: Year of Manufacture Engine Drivetrain Body Style Etc., Etc. These details are necessary for responders to accurately answer your questions without guessing or having to ask what are the specifics of the MJ you are referring to. You can add these details easily and permanently by creating a signature or adding your truck details to your existing signature. Here's how to do it: 1. Click on the upper RH icon to open the drop-down menu 2. Click on Account, then Account Settings 3. In the Settings menu click on Signature 4. Compose your signature, or add to your existing signature 5. When complete, click Save Quote With tapatalk you have to go to the main page where it shows you the icons of the groups you are in. at the top there should be an icon of a person, then go to settings, then signature. Then you can add a signature to the group you want. But it will only add the signature when you use tapatalk, if you ever log in on a computer it will not input the signature.
DirtyComanche Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 I updated mine to more accurately reflect how it currently is.
desbennett004 Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 Can you do this in Tapatalk? Haven't seen anywhere to do it there. Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
gogmorgo Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 That line at the bottom of every post saying you're using Tapatalk on X device is a signature you can edit. Couldn't tell you how, but others have.
HOrnbrod Posted November 22, 2016 Author Posted November 22, 2016 Done! How does the first line look? I like it! Very creative. :clapping:

Couldn't tell you how, but others have. It's in the actual app settings for Tapatalk, Or so I can only assume, since I don't use it.
gogmorgo Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 I also don't use it, which is why I couldn't tell you how.
Hippie66 Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 The signatures don't show up using the mobile version.
gogmorgo Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 If you scroll down and hit "full version" they will. But yes, I've also found that annoying.
Hippie66 Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 Full version is annoying on a phone or tablet.
DirtyComanche Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 How's this? Not specific enough. What lockers? What LED headlights? Is the light bar straight or curved? 1989 is a transition year, do you have an AX-15 or a Peugeot 5spd? What colour is your interior? Do you like gladiator movies? Okay, kinda just bustin' your balls there. Your sig is better than most.

But here goes, Demetrius and the Gladiators with Victor Mature and Susan Hayward 1954.

gogmorgo Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 Yeah the mobile site doesn't display them. Sorta a bummer when you need to mega creep someone just to see what they're working on when they don't have info in their post. When I asked if there was a way to force the desktop version on mobile (so I could see sigs, some extra features, etc) the response I got was that the mobile and desktop versions were the same. Which is largely true, just with some minor exceptions that I can't seem to get around... Like signatures.

You can change the forum to allow you to create a profile feature that is your 'garage' or whatever that you can put vehicle details in. Much like more generic options (A/S/L). It's still clunky as you have to click the user to see it, but that's better than nothing. Assuming this forum software supports that, which I'm sure it does.
HOrnbrod Posted February 16, 2018 Author Posted February 16, 2018 If you can't create a signature, then at least post more than: "Hey, my commanche's broke. What's wrong?"
JMO413 Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Glad I saw this post never thought about it before. Is this good?
